I think after watching jr against Morrison, even Chris wouldn't have called out GGG, Canelo, Charlo or even Liam Williams! He really would be sectioned.

He’d been out three years and could’ve blasted the kid out in two rounds but had to take it easy because he needed the rounds.

Not sure what fight you were watching. Junior barely made a dent in Groves, who wasn't exactly renowned for his iron chin.

The only time Groves looked in trouble was in the final round after his shoulder went, unlike Junior, who was lucky not to have several knockdowns against him.

UK fighters used to be considered upright and stiff by our friends over the pond, it is only in recent years that perception has shifted somewhat.

There have still been plenty of upright british boxers over the years though, the fact is for every Haye we produce there was a Maccrinelli, for every Fury a Joshua, for every Calzaghe a Froch, and so forth...

Not that the upright fighters are not without their own strengths.
