Frampton has the makings of an excellent commentator - been there done that, articulate and critically (IMO) looks the part also. One reason why I think the likes of Hamed and Hatton will never get regular punditry gigs - despite them both being true ATG British fighters. Networks have tried with them, but they never last.
Was it a Eubank Jr fight where Naz was a pundit and he absolutely murdered him, didn’t pull any punches at all. It was refreshing to see such honest punditry.
I have found Hamed fun and quality when they’ve used him. Honesty doesn’t get you far in Boxing though and Hamed doesn’t need the money.
Yeah Naz is nobody’s yes man, any attempt to rein him in and he’d not be seen again. Fair play to him

Perhaps I am showing my age, but I do sometimes find the interviews with Campbell and Ricky on IFL and the like a bit cringe - and this "man of the people" "lad of the people" and just trying to banter all the time.
When I remember Ricky coming through I can't remember him being half as bad really. Just seemed an all right good egg, heart of gold and essentially a polite, fairly shy lad - not only a man of the people but also someone whose mums could take to also. Now when I see these IFL stuff they do, especially together, I do occasionally think - you don't need to swear to be funny, swearing doesn't make you any more authentic or man of the people.
As I said perhaps it is my age, but Ricky was only really doing his Bernard Manning routine towards the end of his run, but he was filling the MEN and a huge star WAY before that. Back in 2001 he was doing segments for SKY on Tszyu vs Judah - and there was no Bernard Manning routine then.
Campbell on his own is much less about the banter - more of that would be good for his profile I think.

It’s definitely cringe. Especially when they talk about ‘shagging’ and make puerile jokes. Also Campbells a every average boxer. A pig in a poke. Hatton used to have a certain working men’s charm. Now he’s just a try hard bellend. And about as funny as cancer.
