Boxrec list Ndou as Witter's next opponent on the Eastman/Hopkins undercard - http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=009304

This will be a tough fight for Witter. I would be very suprised if he stops him. Anyone know if it will appear on the Setanta PPV?

N'dou is very overated i have seen almost all his fights since he come to Australia and have never been impressed, He has a decent punch decent speed and decent defence but nothing special.

I have only seen Witter a few times and was impressed by his awkward style sort of reminded me of a less polished version of Pernall Whitaker he will be far to good for Ndou and could even stop him.

Agree with Ben , Ndou was well looked after in Australia by the Mordeys, along with Shannon Taylor he was there main event on there fox show for quite a while , got a lot of easy fights and built a decent record, all at lightweight, at jnr welter he seems to have done ok for himself but I percieve him to be a great survivor has opposed to a really good boxer,

Witter should do a number on him , mind you if he does it sort of shows Mitchell has dropped a lot, Could that make the Haton Zoo fight a bit more unpredictable

what I don't understand is where this revitalised witter has come from, and i don't mean since before the judah fight. I watched him against Jurgen Haeck and he looked ordinary, then he turns into this deadly looking, sharp, fast dangerous punching machine?

Cotto couldnt stop Ndou and Ndou gave Cotto all the grief he could handle in the middle rounds, you honestly think witter is anywhere near cottos level?

everyone is carrying on on like this is a foregone conclusion i dont see it that way, think its a real 50 50 fight as long as Ndou is in shape.

This is the test that Witter needs then, if he can win this then he can go on to bigger & better things, Give some credit to Witter if he does actually fight N'Dou at least he his wanting his career to progress.

People seem to be assuming that Witter is one of the best 5 Light-Welters around when I'm not sure if he's ever beaten a top 20 opponent.

Well, top 20, yes, but depends on whose ratings you believe, the sanctioning bodies top 20's have people who are barely breathing in there.

He definetly hasn't beaten any non-europeans in the top flight, so yes, the wheels could fall off spectacularly, be interesting to see what happens when and if N'dou lands a pearler.

its getting a bit close to fight time and still no announcment as far as i know. Same with Froch's supposed fight as well

The rumours are that if this fight does come off then it will be non-televised by the american networks, don't know if that will be the same over here. Guess it depends if BBC send their own cameras over there.

It's going to be a very hard fight for both of them I think. Witter really punches his weight these days: N'Dou might be a little shocked by his power in the early rounds, but I can't see him getting stopped.

If Cotto couldn't dent him I really doubt Junior will.

Witter must be feeling like Tommy Hearns these days, and might go for it early on, but as long as he doesn't lose heart when he sees N'Dou smiling back at him, he should box him and win on points.

It's a WBC eliminator too, apparently.

I give Witter a chance at a stoppage, he has very quick hands and that could make the difference, he also has pretty fast footwork too, and should be able to outmanouever N'dou.

I cannot think of anyone N'dou has faced who is as quick as Witter. Mitchell is close, but wasn't that fast during that fight. Witter does appear to have pretty devastating power these days.

Cotto though technically excellent fights at a more measured pace, and counters more, he doesn't tend to let his hands go as much as Witter.

It's certainly shit or bust time for Witter. If the fight is close going into the last couple, he has to

N'dou probably won't get any favours from the judges though, he's not a guy whose career is going places.
