valdez with that left hook is just as fast as tank, but valdez is too open to beat tank and has been hurt quite a bit

The name missing is Valdez. I think he beats Tank in a fire fight.

Not saying Regis would win, but I think a motivated Prograis in top form can pose issues. If he beat Tank at 140, I wouldn't be shocked on it.

I think Valdez is too small. Tank took some good shots from a large for 140 Barrios. Not sure if Tank can still make 130 these days, but if he could, I 'd say he has advantages in speed/power/chin over Valdez. Hard to see how Oscar overcomes that.

We also know SS has less than average power.

I think Taylor beats him at 140, after a few rough moments. Loma could beat him at 135, but getting up their in ring age. Lopez might not be able to make 135 to much longer, but toss him at 140, I think he could beat Tank just on size/power. I think Tank beats Prograis at this moment, along with everybody else.

Some people trying to discredit Barrios, but I'd say he was a top 6 guy at 140. For Tank to go up two weight classes and win in the fashion he did is impressive, to me. I'm not even a Tank fan, but he's growing on me.

And him not being wary of power is a moot point. You don't need power to beat power, just boxing ability.

Prograis is #2 at 140 and a borderline top 10 P4P guy, to me. The A vs B vs C comparison isn't always great, but it should compare the power between the two, to some extent.

Akhmedov is top 10 guy at 140, and many would argue he beat Barrios in their encounter. Hasn't displayed any chin issues thus far, but Barrios dropped him twice.

How do we know SS's chin? Sure you don't need power, but when Tank can match your speed and just go thru the front door, how long will the elusive feet last?

Again, moot point, because I don't see Tank making 130 any longer.

the a beat b faster than c is worth noting for sure though sometimes a bit overstated, especially when the common opponent is poor

for example, it was laughable to me that some ppl actually hyped luiz ortiz's win over bumbling razvan cojanu, simply because he ko'd him quickly (like others had already done and would do after) but joe parker didnt. and then what happens when you get something like that, but then another fighter much more quickly stopped someone else who fighter a faced? derek chisora for example stopped malik scott but ortiz couldnt, otto wallin stoppe kauffman way faster than ortiz, wach layed out hammer etc

but when you see it time and time again, its usually saying something. another good result from a few years ago was tank doing an absolute demolition job on pedraza, who hasnt been stopped since and is doing well at 140

but it can get a bit silly to hype individual results. luiz ortiz over raz cojanu LOL, conor benn stopping sam vargas faster than spence, garcia, ortiz, etc did.......does anyone really think benn is some type of superhuman with far greater power than those other guys?

Hard to say, he's small for 40 but his power is carrying. I think barrios is pretty good, dropped a small bet on him.
