I’ve just looked at Boxrec. Prob not. Some good fighters from 50s and 60s. More modern times may be Javier Castillejo

Poli Diaz and Pedro Carresco were by far the most renowned in Spain, Martinez and Castillejo def would have lived well with the pair of them.

Yeh he like Kiko lost most of his big fights.

What’s his best win? Strum?

Kiko dropped Duran.

He has been digging to that body all fight too.

Zelfa would be mad to take a rematch.

He's gotta take it hasn't he ?

It'll be decent money and nowhere to go without it.
If he wins he's ready for a run at Euro, World next year....

Kiko looking good tonight. Duran was up for it, but Kiko's beaten all ambition out of him. :salut:

Strum was his biggest but he had a few decent wins at jr. middleweight (Mullens, Marshall and Karmazin were considered top 10 guys at the time). I saw some of his fights and he was a pretty tough guy and I think every loss he took was to a current, future or past belt holder, if I remember correctly, except maybe one early in his career

Yeah that was a good win. Roman Karmazin as well. But as you say he’s a similar level to Kiko. The 50s and 60s guys are way ahead
