I simply cannot believe that Minter was anything less than 5'11." Period. Impossible for him to be any shorter.

As for those guys who perceive him as being closer to 5'9" or 5'10", then there must be some rational explanation to the contrary. But I don't know what to say.

I remember reading about that. Alan certainly had his demons when it came to the bottle. On top of that, Minter may have nursed a grudge against Hagler because of alleged head butting in their 1980 London tiff. No it's not. That's because Boxrec needs to have accurate information about fighters' heights. Right now, there's reason to believe that Boxrec's profile on Minter lists the wrong height (5'9").

Boxrec has replaced the Ring Record Book as the penultimate, most trustworthy source of fighters' records and other key information, such as stance, height, weight, and reach. Therefore, Boxrec should strive to maintain the highest possible standards of accuracy.

As for Ross Minter, I'm not going to contact him on social media. But if anyone else can do it, I suggest they go ahead.
