Wayne McCullough
Alex Arthur
Only if you’re in a pub populated by dwarves. Size means a lot in a fight. A non punching bantamweight like McCullough really wouldn’t be much use. The average tough guy in a pub would throw him around like a rag doll.
Basically you’d want a heavyweight, who’s game, tough with a good chin and can punch. Babic is a good choice. David Haye would actually be a good one - athletic, hits hard fast and has some jiu jitsu I believe. He would just chin people and we’ve seen him in action, taking care of Chisora and Adam Booth in style
The average pub tough guy would be gassed and defenceless after 30 seconds. Wayne McCullagh had a block head so would weather the windmilling then take over.
Hmmm I've ever seen a bar or streetfight last more than 5 seconds. Mccullough would be picked up and bashed into the floor by anyone 15stone and over

I was a pub manager for years, saw loads of fights. It was always really clear who'd had a lot of practice in a setting outside of the bar, and it certainly wasn't always the big lads.
Yes but let's not pretend it's not a huge advantage. Sunny Edwards is not going to help you much in a fight regardless of his skill.

one thing to keep in mind about size..........whatever weight the boxers are fighting at, remember that's after draining fluids and getting down to hardly any fat.
in the shape of the average guy, or even between fights for some guys, they could be 30 pounds heavier, so not as small as they might seem
though obviously size is still a big factor, especially when the big lad can fight too. nathan gorman would beat up naoya inoue easily.

Kenny Anderson, he wouldn't even have to fight. Just him being there would be enough.
Re: Boxers who would be the best street / pub fighters.
one of those unhinged scary dudes.......id be worried less about him punching me up and more about him sodomizing me or biting me or some weird sh!t like that.

kenny anderson was the precursor to jamie cox, both in being a nutcase and being overrated by british boxing forums to the point of it being bizarre
both done in by georgey groves too, though kenny sure gave him a scare

For a lightweight, I bet Edwin Valero would have been a ridiculously good street fighter.

i bet michael gomez was a handful in the pub. With froch being such a ridiculously tough bastard, i wouldn't fancy a dust up with him.
pat barrett was meant to be tasty wasn't he?
Gomez killed someone in the street.
I worked with Mike for a bit. During that time a film was very close to being made. Trailer below.

Former light middleweight Mathew Hall was a handful too.
He offered Calzaghe outside to settle their differences once. From memory Hall was fighting Kerry Hope and Joe was shouting from ringside. both Hall and Brian Hughes hit the roof.

From memory Jamie Moore told Jeff Lacy as it was when Lacy disrespected some young kids in Olivers (i think Lacy and his team removed them from the gym).
Jamie’s no mug.

And the likes of Chisora could beat up two or three 'handy lads' all at once.

I think anyone who is FIT strong , able to take punches for 10 rnds , and punch there weight is gonna be an handful to the average guy ,, when the average guy comes up against that its a shock ,, especielly bullies who spend there life picking there mark , and get a shock when they finally meet someone who can punch there weight .

Andreas Panayi, a Greek fellow out of Merseyside, broke the jaw of Ross Hale in one of his pro fights and later ventured into unlicensed boxing and cage fighting.
