lirva33 tells it like it is.

Hatton was supposed to fight Tszyu for ages. ALL the talk was Tszyu.

Tszyu. Tszyu. Tszyu. Tszyu. Tszyu. Tszyu.

That was his excuse for Olieiera.

"He's a warm up for Tszyu".

People said, "Ah it's ok if hes a warm up for tszyu".

Then he proves his true colours by trying to get Ndou to fight INSTEAD of Tszyu.

You think the blue moon fans will switch to support Bradford City
Hatton once hes been starched in 1round will still be worth 500k a fight, Witter will still be worth less than 6figures a fight.

Maybe Junior should pretend hes from Leeds and is a Leeds U fan. Instead of Blue Moon they could beat up an Asian Student pre-fight. I actually went to uni with a friend of that lad that had Lee Bowyer biting his face.
I am talking about in the rankings - Witter will be ahead of Hatton in the rankings if he beats N'Dou and Hatton loses badly.
Independent rankings yes, alphabet rankings are different because rest-assured richer fighters promoters shout them a drink or 2

I think this is a hard question, they are probably on a level with Hatton perhaps slightly ahead. Witter smashed away Battaglia and went 12 with Judah and if he beats N'dou convincingly it puts him in a strong position...while keeping busy though he has been in with the likes of Jurgan Haeck, Colin Mayisela, Oscar Hall, Fred Kinuthia etc hardly stellar opposition. Hatton has been fighting slightly better opposition on a more regular basis and Witter hasn't beaten N'dou yet :o

Hatton's opposition is more consistent but Witter has better one off fights to his name if that makes sense :TU:

I think it should be pointed out that the fellows allegedly involved in that particular incident were from London or Middlesbrough, not Leeds. Yes they played for Leeds United, but I don't think anyone from my home town wants themselves associated with Bowyer and the like. Not all people from Leeds are like Bowyer, and not all Leeds fans are like Bowyer either, so I'd be much happier if you didn't tar us all with the same brush.

As for Kilburn's original question, no is the answer I'd give.

N'Dou would be a good win for Witter, better than any he's had to date by some margin I'd suggest. But, there have been few other wins of note for Junior. Battaglia is a solid win, and so is Bergman, other that there's not much else.

Hatton, on the other hand, has beaten three men at a slightly higher level than those two, Phillips, Tackie, and Magee. Plus he's fought several others just beneath that level.

A victory over N'Dou would lessen the gap considerably, but it wouldn't be enough for Witter to overhaul Hatton.

Don't you tell me what to do...you.............you............you............no good wannabe brummie. What sort of name's Steve689 anyway? Wolves? Ha! Nothing but a poor man's West Brom.

Don't worry, I was only partially serious. I'd still rather not be linked in any way, shape, or form to Lee Bowyer though. The man is a shithead.

don't forget lucky sambo. or should that be unlucky sambo.

witter's level of competition generally since the judah fiasco has been poor, i don't think a win over n'dou will put him more than level with hatton.

Witter has a win over the very dangerous Jan Bergman which is not often mentioned, in about his 9th fight also. Bergman was 35-1 at the time with his only loss against Kostya Tszyu, he fought Judah after Witter and knocked Judah down. Bergmans a dangerous puncher and it could maybe be argued a better opponent than any Hatton has yet to face. Bergman also had Khaliq down a couple of times at welter a couple of years ago.

I'm not sure about this idea that Hatton somehow gets more credit because he's signed to fight Tszyu. On June 6th the one-dimensional Ben Tackie will more than likely still be the best name on Ricky's record.

I know we've been over this a million times before and I really don't want a load of replys to this naming Junior and Ricky's opponents one by one and comparing them, it's just my opinion that Ricky has fought against better opposition consistently over the last couple of years.

A resounding win for Witter over N'dou would go a long way to over-turning this but I'd just give Hatton's ledger the edge.

Lest to say I'm just over the moon that their next 2 fights are against who they are.
Hatton has fought old men, people who've been exposed, and nobodies.

Witter has fought Zab Judah, people who've been exposed, and nobodies.

Hatton has ran scared from Witter for years.
what is it with you lirva, you seem a decent enough chap until the H word is spoken and the W word is brought up, then you turn into some biased troll that cant help himself.

good luck to Junior and Ricky, I hope they both win and will scream my lungs out for both. (assuming the friggin bbc show us junior cos i cant get sentana gutted)
