But they've got Cardiff booked and the arena doesn't hold 25k?

I wonder where they’re thinking. MEN doesn’t hold 25k and I wouldn’t have thought they’d go outdoors then.

I find it typical of Warren to be talking about bigger fights but not fighting them so it’ll be interesting to see if Avanesyan gets a credible opponent.

Frank did it with Calzaghe for years (mentioning Hopkins and fighting Salem), did it with Billy Joe (Golovkin and Canelo) and several others over the last 10 years or so.

Yea but theres more boxers than just Benn... 200th in the world, 30% KO % uber drivers, from a tiny boxing nation, with zero name recognition.... If you cant find better than this dont be suprised when you cant secure a fight with a hot young prospect. Its that classiv "im a boogie man" claim when its just a world levle guy that generates area levle revenue.

I know he can’t but surely he can find someone better than Metz who’s ranked 184 in the world on Boxrec? Benn isn’t the only fight out there for Avanesyan. I know they’re never going to bring any of the decent/semi decent Yanks over. Why aren’t they going after someone like Butaev? What about an eliminator of sorts with Mbenge or Clayton?

My original comment when I started this thread was that I thought they would talk about Conor Benn and fight randoms and that I hope I’m wrong about it. Unfortunately it’s typical FW promotion.

Its probably not financially viable.
