Usyk would beat the Tyson Fury we saw tonight. Not sure about the Tyson Fury from the 2nd Wilder fight. If both are 100% I think Fury wins, but he'd be better fighting at around 255lb.

Yes, next fight he should go out not higher than 260.

At heavyweight it will take a big lug

It's a tough prospect but there may be some fighters on the horizon.

Joe Joyce's style and size may be the closest danger to Fury. It's not everyone's cup of tea but he just keeps winning and seems to have a good chin.

AJ, Dubois, Whyte, Helenius would be fun and have a punchers chance. But would probably fail.

Sanchez and Usyk are nice to watch but I'm not sure what happens there.

Forget Ruiz, Hunter and Yoka

There are some big Russians and Eastern Europeans out there but won't be ready for a few more years.

Britain's Fabio Wardly may progress further as well.

usyk's fellow Ukrainian Vlad Sirenko seems to have power but needs a big step up soon.

I don't want to see Usyk v AJ 2 , that's another pointless rematch

I don't particularly want to see Fury v Wallin next but if Whyte wins that one I'd love to see Whyte v Fury next.

That version of Fury we seen last night loses to Usyk. Carrying too much weight clearly hinders Fury stamina and ability to avoid punches. I thought Fury looked flat and sloppy last night and his preparation for the fight was half assed. He let a guy like Wilder hang around way too long and almost payed the price for it. It was a entertaining fight, but it didn't look like two elite HOF fighters in there.

fury will get into the hof, not sure wilder will with the 3 best he's beaten in 45 fights are stiverene, ortiz, and dom brezeale

To be fair Fury himself has never said he could easily beat Usyk.

We saw Wilder get better but Fury got worse, and that resulted in a classic.

Kudos to Fury for taking more chances in his last 2 fights than for most of his career.

He really went to the wire last night in his determination to punish Wilder, and he almost fell off.

It seems crazy to want to go head to head with Deontay Wilder but it worked.

Both men showed great heart but Fury is the better boxer, and thanks to his greater powers of recovery and stamina, he was able to demonstrate that.

Tyson Fury's training methods and body shape are far closer to the great champions of the past than to some of the bodybuilding physiques we see today.

Proving once again that appearances can be deceptive.

The big question now is, where does Deontay Wilder go from here?

I'm guessing that Fury will now wait for AJ/Usyk rather than diving in against the champion for the unification.

Joshua might want to consider stepping aside and fighting the winner of Fury v Usyk but I can't see that happening.

It's a faster road to unification but boxing people are unpredictable, and it's always better to have your destiny in your own hands.

Wilder beats everyone else in the division IMO.

Usyk vs Fury is an interesting one. But it’ll be a horrific spectacle. I’m not sure who wins, but I do agree that Fury needs to get into better shape if he’s to take it.

But another part of me thinks that Fury probably won’t be hurting Usyk if AJ couldn’t put a dent in him, and the Ukrainian might just outwork Tyson.

Yeah, Fury is definitely a future HoF, regardless how his further career goes. Dethroning Klitschko, comeback Rocky styled story, winning Wilder rivalry, all that stuff makes him truly great.

Fury's biggest problem yesterday was obviously believing that Will and Skill will always get you through, and that you don't have to train that hard. Almost cost him yesterday, but it might not be enough against Usyk who against AJ fought like a heavyweight version of Joe Calzaghe.

Usyk struggled with Chisora's pressure taking him the distance and Fury beat up and stopped Chisora. Ruiz put Joshua away. Usyk went 12 rounds with both.

Fury doesn't fight anything like Joshua either. Joshua couldn't figure out the southpaw angles and can't apply educated pressure. Fury handled the southpaw angles without a problem again Wallin and knows how to fight tall. And if he's having problems outside against a faster opponent (Cunningham). He can take the fight inside and bully the smaller fighter. Chisora did bully Usyk with some success. And if Fury isn't doing the job outside, he'd roughhouse Usyk on the inside with bodywork, hooks and uppercuts to bully the smaller man. I tend to think he'd probably do this anyway with the way he's fought his last 2 fights.

I don't buy that. I think he deliberately bulked up for the second fight, but most of that appeared to be muscle. He was only 4lb heavier this time, but was visibly flabbier - I think it's pretty clear he lost some muscle and gained a lot of fat. If Fury had the discipline of a Wilder or Joshua coupled with his boxing ability he would be nearly unbeatable.

Anderson looked good but he is only 21. Fury was struggling with McDermott around that age. I do see Fury beating the top guys now.

I don't get that at all. Fury was in superb condition.

Body shape is almost irrelevant. I've lost count seeing body Adonis' huffing and puffing and the "fat guy" looking energetic. This includes other pro sports and true life situations as well.

I think the only fighter right now that might beat him us Usyk and even that I'm not very sure of. Usyk can box but Fury is at least as good a boxer, has a huge reach and weight advantage and I don't think Usyk has that much of a speed advantage. Usyk will be much harder to hit than Wilder, no doubt about that.

Many of the greats were knocked down a few times. Ali was knocked down 4 times. Louis at least that many.
