Tyson Fury v Big John.
Completed beaten in the first… 2nd kinda dominated and got that legend out of there.
Still the worst card I’ve ever seen in a British ring.

Not one-sided. Norris was dominating before the DQs.

Yeah I mean one guy was completely dominated but still won twice. Then got flattened.

Would Ali v Fraser 1 and 2 qualify?
I don't think either I or II was dominant.
Yeah think you're right

AJ Ruiz?
aj-ruiz is an interesting one, i was thinking of including it too but decided not to. by the end ruiz had become in control and was battering aj in dominant fashion, although aj did show for the first 2.5 rounds another level and scored a good kd before getting caught. that then turned the fight

For a moment, I thought Najib was going to do it again in the first round. He definitely stunned Cowdell with right hand but this time Cowdell survived and turned it into a boxing masterclass.

Patterson vs Johansson - Patterson was KO'd early in fight 1, got revenge early in fight 2.

i wonder how cowdell - daho 1 wouldve gone if the round ended 1 second earlier and cowdell hadnt got nailed by the final hook on the bell

would the 1 minute respite been enough? it had seemed like he was getting his legs back into it a bit before the final shot

Yes, and Tony Willis retained his British lightweight title against Steve Boyle on the same bill. I was delighted for Najib. Nobody deserved a British title more than him. He would go in with anyone and was badly knocked out by Ken Buchanan in a poor match in 1980 but nothing ever slowed him. He was still going to war at the end of the decade when he came back from the brink to stop Pat Doherty for the Commonwealth lightweight title in front of a huge crowd in his native Manchester (topped by Barry McGuigan against Jim McDonnell).
As for Liverpool man Willis, he gave a typical showing to see off the dangerous Boyle in an all-southpaw battle. He started slowly but once he got into his rhythm there was only one winner as he boxed Boyle to a standstill. Boyle later won the British title against Alex Dickson and was charming in victory but unpleasant in defeat. He turned his back on Willis when the champion went over to commiserate and later kneed Carl Crook in the balls during a title fight in Preston in the early 1990s. He should have been slung out but the referee let it continue and Crook came through on cuts in a fight he was winning anyway. Typically, Boyle stormed from the ring.

Yes, Barry Michael was a punishing fighter and still smarting from their first fight years earlier when Daho had taken a controversial decision in an eight-rounder in Wales. Najib stuck it out in the rematch but finished well-beaten. Michael signed a deal with F rank Warren while he was here but Warren did nothing for him. Fights fell though and in the end Michael was thrown in with Rocky Lockridge in Windsor and lost his IBF title, which is a bit of a shame because the Aussie was good to watch: stocky, aggressive and clever, against the right opponents. He was never going to beat Lockridge.

Lewis/Rahmann wasn't a one sided loss. It was one good shot. Rahmann wasn't dominating
