Good matchup. Hope it happens. Whyte is a contender who deserves his shot, and has built his skills in hard 12 round fights with Chisora (twice), Parker and Rivas. I admire the improvement he gained from those fights as much as I enjoyed these brutal battles.
Fury has proven he can win the big fights - taking the title from a Hall of Famer and engaging in a brutal 3-fight rivalry vs the sport’s biggest puncher. Now let’s see him defend his title vs a contender, something we’ve never seen him do.
Want to see both in optimal condition. Yes Tyson is a big favourite but he’s had lots of knockdowns and wobbles against him. I think Whyte’s been looking good, and you can see he’s a student of the game, but will he just be outgunned by the bigger man again (as with Joshua, all that time ago)?
