Jacob Robinson won on points in a hard fought fight against Angelo Dragone who is never in a bad one.

Jay Harris got stopped from body shots again. Cracking fight, the little Mexican was all over the Welshman from the start but Harris stayed with him and out punched him, edging all of the first 5 rounds. However he caught with another great one to the body, struggled up but got caught again and counted out.
Fought the wrong fight really, should have kept things at distance instead of scrapping in a phone box.

I guess, esp at 31, Harris needs to take opportunities wherever they come from but I reckon he would be better at super fly.

Well it looks like the problem is he didn't dine out enough and dropped to light flyweight :D

I thought Steve Robinsons boy got a bit of a gift with the wide scoring, I think the ref gave 4 or 5 even rounds which was poor showing.
Furthermore he scored a knockdown from a blatent judo throw, it was unbelievable it was counted.
For me with giving Robinson a 10-8 for that round I had him ahead by 1 point. I would have otherwise given it a 10-9 to him which would have left it a draw in my eyes.
Nevertheless it was difficult to score, Dragone always busy throwing shots while coming forward but less accurate while Robinson was catching him with cleaner, pitty pat shots as he came in and then held.
He did lose a point for holding too.
If I was Dragone I would be feeling a bit hard done by.

Robinson boxed a dirty fight and the referee was lenient IMO. The knock down shouldn't have been counted either. He hurt Dragone with a good uppercut, but was clearly spun & thrown to the floor. Robinson also held far too much and used his shoulder & forearms excessively too.

Great little scrap between Harris & Flores :box: Dropping 4lbs to make light flyweight won't have done anything to help Harris cope with body shots.

Gosh that Fearon is a f*uckwit :witzend:
Preaching after the Harris fight ended and said if you do your research you will find out that Mexicans love throwing body shots and fight in close :oo
Like he's the only person who's ever noticed this :stop:

If only Harris's team had invested in employing Fearon as a consultant for this inside info.

Lockett must have been in shock when Flores, nicknamed the bull, started coming forward and included body shots in his repertoire

You're excused.

CW title 12 rounder on Free telly is better than nothing.
The Vegan Warrior looks weedy and malnourished, but he's got a great engine.
