That is a bit confusing, is the Witter fight Free is the PPV doesn't start till 2.00.

Incidently, a word of warning - There is a scam on ebay about getting PPV's for free, it is a Scam - I didn't get caught but have been on a site in which people have. It looks good then after a few more PPV's you get this bill dating back to the original one.

Setanta PPV have confirmed the Bernard Hopkins vs. Howard Eastman fight Live from the Staples Centre in
Los Angeles, California, USA. Undercard features will be Jermain Taylor vs. Daniel Edouard And we will now be covering
the Super Lightweight contest between the UK's Junior Witter and Lovemore N'dou.
The Middleweight Champion Title Fight will be broadcast on Setanta Sport on Saturday 19th February 2005.

The programme will start at 12:45am and The main fight is due to start at 02:45am with a repeat broadcast
planned at 08:00am & 4:00pm on Sunday 20th.

The cost for this will be £14.95. This event is not available as a webcast.

Sky customers please call 08708 500 005 or go to "Box Office" and press "select" on

Just a warning here folks.

From what I recall from other Sentena Boxing PPV events the Sunday morning repeat shows don't show much of the undercard.

For people that can see the scandinavian satellite channel Viasat Sport 3, they send boxing from 11PM UK time on saturday
First is Larios vs McCoullough + undercard
and then its Witter vs N'Dou(?)
Taylor vs Edouard
Hopkins vs Eastman

All this is for free if you can receive the channel.

Let me get this correct before I make a big mistake...

12.45 am Saturday 19th means 45 minutes into saturday after the end of friday tonight in just over 12 hourse (as the time is now 11.15 am friday the 18th)

Secondly, do I have to have a monthly subscription before getting the PPV making my cost over £25 or can I just pay £14.95?

Yes he is right folks, Setanta replays are noriously a waste of time...i remember ordering Hopkins-Hakkar and when i turned on at the 8am replay there was just the main event over and over and not Tua-Rahman II on the undercard or anything else.

On the subject of Witter-N'dou i should bloody hope it is being shown because £14.95 for two fights is a fornicating rip-off regardless of the calibre of fighters.

No they haven't done any in a while, they have been focusing on the full throttle action from the Scottish Premier League

They did Hopkins-Hakkar as i mentioned and also Jones Jnr-Ruiz, i can remember them doing one other but not exactly sure who was fighting.

They've done two. I think Jones vs Ruiz got good ratings, I think I might have been the only person to have got Haakar vs Hopkins.

I remember booking Jones-Ruiz. I thought the preview was excellent. It was practically a documentry. I also booked Hopkins-Hakkar, but I actually booked the repeat as I found out after the live event that it was shown.

So what was this other one they showed? I'm just intregued.

There hasn't been another one to my knowledge, I didn't get the Jones one because at the time my Sky cables were a bit damaged and I couldn't get a good picture when watching the Previews on Setanta. I phoned them up saying would the picture be any better in the actual event and they said no.

If I remember right they use the HBO broadcast.
