I completely forgot this was on but my TV box automatically recorded it. Not sure if that was a good thing.
Bradley Strand fight - his opponent was stopped in the first a month ago by Nick Ball. Shock! He’s stopped in the first again. Strand looked fine but doubt he got anything out of that.
Adan Mohammed - fought a guy who seemed naturally at least one, maybe two weights divisions below him. Showed some skills but needs to plant his feet more if he’s going to hurt his opposition and needs to double up the attack when he moves up in levels. Still fights too much like an amateur.
Solzynski vs Junior - I was worried when Junior went down from a jab early doors. I’m torn on the fight. I loved the fact both guys fought to win and it was a good and competitive fight but to sling Junior in at 24 hours notice, on his debut at 18 against a bigger bloke just felt a bit wrong. It’s amazing what happens though when you put 2 guys in the ring who try to win. I can’t see Solzynski going far but who knows.
Frankham/Sumner - another mismatch. Sumner was stopped in the division below against a guy on debut a couple of months back. Frankham easily wins but is another one that needs to plant his feet more.
Zorro/Rudan - This was Zorro’s 10th fight. Surely he’s passed opponents like this? Fighting a guy who hasn’t won in 4 years and has been stopped loads too. He gets stopped again. I get Zorro’s been out of the ring a while but surely they can find someone better than that to fight?
Turner/Lamptey - Turner’s a nice boxer but wasn’t up against much. 4 straight losses in 2 months for Lamptey. Turner’s got a lot of potential - shame he doesn’t seem to have much power though.
Adeleye/Musil - Adeleye looked better than he did against Sokolowski but his opponent was a fair bit worse.
I didn’t have much of an issue with Adeleye’s matchmaking but it shouldn’t be the main event. Those NextGen/Fight School shows are a good idea in principle but in reality all fights (bar the one where the guy made his debut) were bad mismatches.
Surely it’s not too much to ask to get a couple of 80/20s? Or even 90/10 fights?!

Dacres would box his ears off. I think Fisher beats him too but don’t have much to base that off other than I think Fisher will find a way to win.

He boxed amateur as Aloys Youmbi, won a couple of national titles for double jab ABC.
While he def showed some talent, he had over half a stone on the Pole, was floored by a jab and was exhausted.
I think he will prob fall into a dangermen role who is too good to get a lot of work but not good enough to get any backing.

I'd agree from the bits I've caught of all them. Early days for a heavyweight though I suppose.
I wonder when he will fight a domestic level opponent.

Thought it was a terrible card. When Queensbury get the elbow from BT, and it can't be far away now, they can't say they haven't had a chance.

Frank reckons they’ve got a water tight contract. I’d be amazed though if BT didn’t have some get out clauses. I don’t think it’ll happen though. BT just need to have more quality control. They’re ultimately funding this new prospect series of shows but need to demand more from Frank.
