I don’t agree. Koko the gorilla had an estimated IQ of 85 so you could definitely train him to box rather than years limbs off. My belief is that such a trained gorilla would essentially use roundhouse punches to batter the human into submission. They couldn’t take the power.
could grease the palms of the gloves up so they wouldn't be able to get a good grip of the head or limbs.

Has there ever been anything like this in boxing? Like, more than 2 fighters in the ring at the same time. Or maybe tag team boxing. But both pairs in at the same time. Like slightly safer pub fights.
I'm on my 4th black coffee of the morning and just read the Triad Combat thing, got me thinking.
I'm not a fan of the youtubers hogging all the limelight in boxing, but if it's going WWF styley, why not any of the above? Might take a bit of refereeing though

humans have a very low compsition of muscle relative to the rest of their body compared to many other animals, we're actually very weak and unathletic
my fat cat runs faster than me , has way better reflexes, etc
a gorilla would put the most accomplished strongmen to shame and could prob tear a head off with a swat

well, gorillas may be about 500 pounds of muscle, and have 90 inch reaches, and be utterly insanely powerful compared to humans, and have massive fangs
but bruhs, they only reach about 6 feet tall
look at dat midjit, dude is getting beat easy in any type of combat by these tall hws, like efe ajagba

Have done quite a bit of research of early 20th century boxing in Louisiana.
Still in 20's a negro "battle royale" was a regular "attraction" to start all-white serious boxing events in f ex Lake Charles.
Strangely - just 200 miles North in Monroe, Louisiana some black fighters were treated with utmost respect headlining shows with white fighters in the undercard and written extensively about in a local newspaper.
Deep South was not a monolith.
