Michael Pass!!
Blast from the past.
Always thought he looked like an overweight Pornhub amateur porn star.
Liked him tho.

I’m sure Buffer will be wheeled out for the main events but here’s another vote for Craig Stephen.

I used to like Pass. Haven’t heard or seen him in must he 10 years. He had pretty much a full head of grey hair then too.

I've never understood why Diamonte needs to be used for the UK small shows. Hes good but there must be a cheaper alternative and that could be the reflected in the ticket prices for the fans.

I'm sure ask any fan in attendance if theyd rather stupot and pay £10 less for the ticket, I think I know the answer x

Ah hold on Stu, they're hardly paying him £10x [number in attendance] per fight, it's not like he's Michael Buffer.

You really think Diamanté gets paid that much?!

He’s probably on a salary with Matchroom and gets decent 5 figures.

Buffer is awful, gets paid a fortune to miss pronounce everything. I'm told he gets paid More than some world champions he's announcing. Surely that can't be right?

Anyone who watched the Madrimov v Soro card would surely agree that the Uzbek announcer from that show should get the nod, purely for comedy value

Michael Pass confines himself to Steve Woods VIP shows these day & has come full circle having started out with him. Sadly he's fallen out of love with the sport of boxing, but would love reading people's comments here, both praise & criticism!

So was this guy injured or were the rumours true? That he was in rehab?

He has made a beyond miraculous recovery if the initial diagnosis was even nearly true.

I might be doing him a disservice but when I listened to him on boxing life stories he came across as a bit of a charlatan so it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he was exaggerating or even flat out inventing his accident story.

yep. I fractured my T11 vertebra a few years ago and spent three months shuffling around wearing a back brace and eating painkillers, after only which could i begin proper physio. sounds like Diamante had a miracle, considering what his injuries were listed as at the time.

Absolutely agreed 1,000%

I know someone in hospital for 9 months solid having those sort of injuries repaired - and it took another year of rehabilitation for them to walk with a stick for the rest of their life.

The loss of bone in the leg left one leg shorter than the other and all manner of other permanent injuries / scars.

Diamante was up back MC'ing in like 9 weeks.
