3rd place = 5 point bonus

Spreadsheet has been updated including January Bonus Points.

Ironbeard please confirm I have distributed the points accorindingly, as per my understanding of the system.

Oogiebe was January's outright winner on 85 points so he gets the 15 point bonus alone.

We then have a 3 way tie for 2nd place with gregregegg, Cent0089, DrDuke all on 80 points.
I distributed the points for 2nd and 3rd place (15 in total) between these, so that's 5 points each?

This week there were 6 bouts (Kossobutskiy vs Duhaupas seems to have not happened), all ended in stopages.
With Khan / Brook as double points there was a potential total of 105 points up for grabs.

Leading this weeks round, Adislav123, Cent0089 and Myself jointly scored a high of 70 points

Oogie the bastard ( ) once again takes the lead for the February monthly lead with 140 points (27 out of 43 picks at 62.79%)

dan28uk & Cent0089 are right on his tail with 135 points.

However, the February bonus points are still up for grabs going into the final week of February picks. Almost anything could happen with so many players within 10 points of the February lead.

i don't think 5,6 or even 7 fights is too much. takes a couple of minutes to check thru their records.

if somebody wants to delve further into research and watch fights of the fighters... good for them.

don't make the last round of a month just 2 fights so those frikkin bonus points are still contested.

The February league ends!!

oogiebe(The Bastard) wins again with 160 points, earning 15 bonus points.
Ironbeard and NoScoutingReports come in joint second with 155 points and share the 2nd and 3rd place bonus points (7.5 each).

Overall Oogbie is steaming ahead on 275 points and a 57.83% pick success rate!
Following up is DrDuke on 230 points and Cent0089 with 225 points leading a bunched up, chasing pack!
Let's all pray for oogiebe having a shocker in March so we can all catch up!

mauricio lara vs emilio sanchez is one to consider as a backup if any of those need replacing, the co feature for chocolate vs jcm

what is the ideal number of fights for people? 3? 4? 5? i like 5, but i sense that 3-4 may be most popular and increase engagment. the week with linares overwhelmed some ppl i think

I understand IronBeard wanted to include fights not necessarily just the more high profile ones to expose more fights and fighters to us, which I don't mind but is also why I have created a commitee.
I wouldn't have picked the Aussie lad (never heard of him) or the Czech heavyweight fight with the back story if I was selecting fights.

I think 3-4 fights should be aimed for....5 fights on those occasional weekends where there might be 3 or 4 higher profile events on.

For those fights listed above, as you have suggested I would rather have the mauricio lara vs emilio sanchez for the picks than Meehan vs Singh which seems like just a prospect expeted to beat up a poor foe.
