With this in mind, a draw is a possibility, do you think people who call a draw should be rewarded given how rare they are? Should they get 20 points or something? Just a thought @ironbeard

I reckon if you pick a draw you should get 15 or 20 points if its a draw
but also 5 points if its a decision win for either fighter.

ya agree on a draw bonus, a draw is so unlikely that if it's an option it deserves some extra if you actually get it. otherwise you'll pretty much never get guys picking draws just because they happen so rarely compared to decisions going to one guy, so if you get the same points it makes far more sense to never pick a draw. seen it happen in other contests

The Rules Board is deliberating on the suggestion that picking a draw correctly should be rewarded more handsomely based on the odds/risk of the choice. The Rules Board will announce its decision on this pertinent subject after 9am on Friday, January 7, 2022. For the January 7, 2022 fight pick, the rules stand with an accurate draw pick being worth 5 points.

The board appreciates the suggestion and welcomes future suggestions.

After a lively debate, including some heated exchanges, and exhaustive review of scholarly opinions on the subject, I . . . I mean the Rules Board has come to a split decision on the question.

In a 2-1 vote, the Rules Board has decided to once again make public that I am the decider on all things related to the 2022 Fight Picks Contest. Indeed, I AM the Rules Board, until further notice.

If anyone takes issue with the above decision, file a complaint with the Rules Board. In the meantime;
