Gave the guy over 4lbs on the scale. At least 10 lbs on the night. Couldn't back out the fight, not that turning down a fight or quitting is in his vocab. Guy had used mx everlast gloves on top of that. Had to switch Trainer just before camp because of the trainers commitment issues, and then that trainer said he couldn't come, and then the assistant trainer that was suppossed to come cancelled a week before, so he came with no one, and we had to pick someone up on the night. Fought a dangerous puncher on a 2 year layoff, and was down by 1 at the end of the 7tn, he couldn't see properly because of the broken nose or breathe correctly and the ref let giron hit him low and at the back.of the head.

I'm very proud of my brother, and he will be back, this time with an actual coach and in a fair weight fight, because it was size that lost him that and possibly the layoff.

Just so people are aware, manager wise; Spencer, Lee eaton, Jamie conlan, they don't have a bad word to say about him. His issue as they would tell u is they just struggle to Match him, because he's too much risk for reward. He trains hard, everyday, he's had the worst luck of any boxer in recent times, and for strangers to take shots at someone who has never done anything other than be a take on all comers, and never soft touches, is trolling. Aside from the fact he's one of the best fighters to watch, he's got an absolute heart of gold, and does so much for charity u wouldn't believe.

My brother always set out to be a guy who takes on the best, and works hard, and shows a tonne of heart and will, he's proven that many times now. I'm very proud of him, and there's a lot of fight fans and people in the business that respect him.
