Yeah - a good wage and most things paid for you - it’s hard to walk away from.

Could be Whittaker (and likely is I think) or Gal Yafai or Lauren Price I guess. To save us from you slating him non-stop I’m hoping it’s Yafai!

Phew! Saves us from your comments on Whittaker for a little while at least. They’re talking about Yafai fighting for a title on his debut. I think he’s got the ability but would be worried about him going 10/12 rounds out of the gate.

It’s strange Whittaker hasn’t turned over yet. Sometimes fighters just wait too long and they lose the momentum they had. People like Khan or AJ could have waited as they were big names coming out of the Olympics but the other guys should be looking to turn over fairly quickly for me.

Whitaker thinks he's in that category.

For whatever reason, they dont tend to sell round there. Yafai will be used all over as he has a great story and a gold medal.

I didn’t mind him too much. I thought he easily lost the final but didn’t have much issue with his other 2 wins to be honest.

They need someone to get people really excited I think and it’ll be a struggle for a flyweight to do that. Hope I’m wrong though as Birmingham isn’t too far for me to go to.
