Basically called himself a king, said Sheffield Institute should be named after him, said that having Covid made him realise how strong he is, talked about his career (but wasn't asked about his career), spends a long time not necessarily incoherent but rambling from one topic about his career to another - talked about being various fights (often in America), talked about Thel Torrence and Emmanual Steward having a lineage of 100 hours of tutor ledge and therefore he has this also - all the time re-iterating that he is "a king" and "back", then talks about poker, then go back to boxing - with this constant undertone of being the king.

Then he says he wants to manage and pass on the 100 years of tutorledge to AJ, but then says "well maybe Dillon Whyte" - it was just rambling in nature which was the worry - very hard to follow.

I was always impressed with Audley anytime he was on Ringside or doing some punditry at live shows. Shame he didn’t pursue that path.

Think Audley was someone, a bit like AJ, who came to boxing late and while I think he was articulate and well spoken enough to be a good presenter - I just think a bit like AJ its not "in grained" enough for him to be a pundit. Early career Audley reminded me a lot of AJ not in their fighting styles but in the way they spoke - Audley was also a walking cliche and would talk about "learning" and often say things like they only focused on one thing in camp.

I don't think either had the ring IQ or that ingrained instinct to see a fight quick enough to be a good pundit, but a good presenter - I would agree.

He did a twitter live last night - there is an hour one and a 10 minutes one still on twitter. I didn't watcher the hour one, the 10 minute one was enough. Its really ugly - especially when he talked about being quite happy to use his gun on someone with no remorse.

No-one gives a shit and it is obvious Audley has a lot of issues to get over regards what happened with his pro career and is obviously in a bad place with it all. I want him to find mental peace with it all and his family over there in the sunshine of Los Angeles - he does deserve that.

He's having a pop at Froch, because Carl rightly said his performance against Haye in 2010 was cowardly, that he's been mugging boxing fans off for years and getting away with it.

Froch said his PPV farce essentially puts off casual armchair fans and that it ruins it for everyone else. That armchair fans got sucked into Audley's sales routine and that he has ripped off fans for years.

I remember Haye rang Froch on his way home from Manchester, shocked at the easiest pay day he'd ever made in his life. He told Carl something like "its a shame there isn't an Audley in your division".

I actually remain convinced that Haye went into that fight carrying an injury, look at how some of the awkward his shots were when Audley was hurt. Haye seems to only want to throw his right hand.

they did spar and think haye was destroying him and audley come out with he was just getting into camp and haye was just finishing camp haye was all wrong for audley too quick and too accurate
