C'mon Shak - take him outside and beat him on points ! :box:
Oh yes Shak just comes across as a nice enthusiastic kid, love it, I’m on the fan wagon
No mention of him beating on women then? :D

Hope Valdez can win. But feel like he's being fed to Shak to some degree.

The bad news is the godawful sky comm team are jetting over to cover the fight, the good news is Matt Macklin wasn’t allowed to board plane due to his MTK links

"...he was among a number of boxing figures also prevented from travelling."

Wonder who else it might include.

Knock him cold or hurt him badly by mid way..but Shak is too slick for him, plus he seems tough as well, the way he handled the hard man African cop who smashed poor ol Berchelt recently
I think Shak is gonna win but surprised how badly Valdez is being favoured. He’s had many great wins at world level already and he’s hard as fornicate, this fight will be much closer than people think.

Also, gameplan-wise I’d rather have Valdez’s corner. I thought Oscar did a good job on the back foot against Berchelt and think both lads will have moments boxing and fighting, forward and back.

But if I had to gamble it’s a Shak UD

The usual boobs I guess, having sadly sneaked past airport security.

Apparently the other two thrown off the plane were Davidson and Koogan. I know a lot of people will be devastated by this news, I think we should have a minutes silence to reflect

I think because while Valdez is still young he's been a lot of wars and looks like he is on the slide, hasn't looked too great in many of his last fights, been hit a lot and timing has been way off, Stevenson has looked very sharp

Valdez won't lose his power though

I'm thinking along these lines, Valdez surprised a lot of people with the Berchelt KO then after the Conceicou performance people are doubting him again whereas Stevenson flattered to decieve coming up but after the Herring win is coming in heavy favourite, I suppose your only as good as your last fight

Valdez is a dangerous operator but Stevenson will box a disciplined fight and win on points. I think Stevenson has a nasty right hook which could end proceedings but due to Valdez being a high level operator I think he will survive rough moments and Stevenson is going to have to have respect for Valdez who can come over the top with hooks that Stevenson could get caught with. I think Valdez will be behind going into the last third of the fight and we could see a dramatic ending if Valdez is willing to risk being KO'd in order to win because he has the ability to force trench warfare here but I just think the right hook of Stevenson is going to land early and put some respect into Valdez. It really is a very nice punch. I'm picking Stevenson by decision.
