Eh only way Whyte wins is if Fury shows up with the equivalent of a broken arm plus covid.
How glorious would such a victory be?
Fury's credit for beating the bumontay wilder is false credit, he beat a flat out bum who can't fight, he can only throw a right hand. Now Fury is in with a real fighter. Let's see if he can handle the big step up in class and danger.
It is not a big step up in class.
Whyte has losses to Chisora, Povetkin and AJ.
Deontay had his flaws but his style was well suited to give Fury a decent fight which he did. Dillian doesn't have any tools to compete with Fury, it's a pretty lousy fight really. There are probably 10 fighters out there who I would rather see vs Fury.

why didn't fury use his tools to avoid getting beaten up by Whyte's tools in sparring?

Did I tell you about that time when I whooped Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali in sparring on the same day?
Do you have footage of that sparring session?
Lots of things happen in sparring sessions. Guys want to go in there with 10 ounce gloves when you are wearing your 14 oz's, sometimes you foolishly enter the ring with a flue and a cold.... but yeah there is no proof that Whyte has ever bested Fury in sparring. It's strange that you have these beliefs. I too would love to see a great fight, this just doesn't look like its going to be one.

Whyte mentioned it to the media but not in a boastful arrogant way, just as a sort of hint to the public and the message implied that he beat the hell out of Fury. I asked one of his trainer Harold Knight about it and he confirmed Whyte said it to him too in private. As far as I know, Whyte only mentioned it in that one interview, not to brag or be a prick but more to remind Fury about it. Media mind games. Whyte has never lied about anything, he's one of the most honest straigh shooters in the sport. If you want to think he is lying about it, go and bet your house or car on Fury. But be very careful. Better have a tent just in case.

I don't do sports gambling. It's very strange that you would put so much stock into remarks about a sparring session, you should know better.

DW is a straight talking guy but yeah sparring sessions have only a passing resemblance to a real fight.
Even one actual fight can be quite different to another as we saw in AJ v Ruiz 1&2 and Whyte v Povetkin 1&2.
If sparring sessions translated into fights David Price might be a living legend.
Nevertheless Whyte will give Fury one hell of a fight and they both know it.

Whyte-Povetkin series bothers me. Because I think it was a rigged two fight series, a farewell double payday for Povetkin. Whyte knew wilder and fury (and AJ) were not going to fight him so he needed a payday. Povetkin was at the end and also wanted the farewell final payday. Remember it was peak pandemic time, money was tight. So did they work out a business deal, you win the first I win the second... Whyte dives and then in the rematch Povetkin dives by showing up in awful shape. He knew it was his last fihgt, last payday so he came and rolled over and took the money and ran. Whyte gets the win and his value is redeemed with the win. I don't know, something fishy about that two fight business series. Both got what they wanted, double paydays.

So...........are you saying that when Whyte dropped Povetkin twice in the 4th round and had him wobbling all over the ring..........you did not immediately think "this fight is obviously fixed, Whyte will get KTFO in the next round"???
