Nah, Forrest deserves his credit, but maybe Zhang was just exposed and Hunter could be simply unwell / underprepared. Furthermore, Jerry is known to have a regular chin, while he's hittable enough. Mak will KO him pretty fast.
Hughie Fury is a nice option. Or the likes of Hrgovic, Dubois, Wallin, Kabayel, Gassiev.

unfortunately i have little doubt his next opponent will be someone who is more of a regular b side than those guys
can see it being duhaupas, if the reptile doesnt get rescheduled for kossobutsky

Unfortunately, that's right. Yet Kean seems possible, since they shared the card the last weekend. Anyway, that's not a much better option, because Kean is a quite regular fringe fighter, without a legit top claim. He's hittable enough, Mak will KO him fast too.

Anyone who saw the fight also saw that Mak still has a lot of work to do in order to compete on top 15 level.
Yeah, Mak actually had a quite bad fight. It was just about an opponent being even worse. Mak simply was coming forward and trying to KO Wach primitively. Wach is slow and without any defensive skills, he was taking all punishment, until he started to fall apart.
Anyway, Mak isn't the only in the top 15 to be questioned, if he deserves that. Pulev is inactive for long and hasn't defeated anyone big for ages. The least can be said about Chisora, who is with the 0-3 streak in 2 years. If to match Mak and Chisora now, Derek will likely be KOed.
P.S. Mak was ticking his f*cking head like an idiot for all time, when he wasn't fighting. When the ref called time-outs or during the breaks. Someone needs to KO him for that.

he fights a bit too in love with his power, very eager to wind up and level guys rather than set it up and let it come when it comes

Right, so far he has been looking just like a big and strong guy with heavy hands. I won't be surprised, if Hughie Fury decisions him in a stinker.

Well, I won't describe knocking out journeymen as huge fun either.

Naw man, that was the old Hughie, Hughie 2.0 is washing fighters like Wach and Hammer
I'm with others who think Pulev needs removing from this top 15, as it's unclear if he is still a boxer. I mean I guess there is the chance that after his next triad event he calls out Hunter. But if it isn't under boxing rules...
Having said that, I'm not sure Mak warrants 15 above Hughie

pulev hasnt boxed for 15 months about (he's the triad goat, but that's not boxing) -- do we have an inactivity rule? i agree he should be out

Only imagine, Pulev's last decent win was 3,5 years ago, over Hughie. After that there were Bogdan Dinu, Rydell Booker and the Joshua loss.

You wanna give Pulev a chance? This weekend is his next Triad fight.
After this, if he announces another Triad fight instead of a boxing match, we’ll vote it immediately?

triad is basically bareknuckle boxing with some extra grappling allowed on the feet, it shouldnt count. he's not fighting any boxers in these fights either.

Yeh I mean that’s why after the last one, we didn’t put it to a vote.

i propose we either set a clear inactivity rule, like you get kicked out if you havent fought in a year, or we at least start a new thread to vote on pulev. there has to be a way to remove inactive guys other than just the attrition of enough new guys earning a spot to kick them out

I think 18 month automatic kick out. But kicked out instantly if you compete in a different division or a different sport. That would cover the worst of it.
Obviusly can get voted down or out befor then but for just strait not elegble for the list.

Has 18 months passed since he fought AJ?
I know he didn’t win, but it was still a boxing match and I’m not sure he got voted down after that.

The way I see it, no one has even got a fight scheduled which is ridiculous.
You want to wait 4 months for Pulev?
The rankings are going anywhere anytime soon.
After the Mir fight, he announced this bout rather quickly.

18 months seems fair. Maybe keep them in if they have something scheduled just to save us re-adding them a couple of months later? I'd agree with the division rule though, but only if they have no intention of returning soon and isn't the Bridgerweight (as there are still disputes on here about whether that's just Heavyweight Lite).
The only other option is to vote on a new list every 12 months to get rid of the deadwood.

Agree with you and Ruthless-RKO on 18months, but I would go a little stricter like gregregegg and just auto-drop them whether they have a fight lined up or not. For a professional boxer not to compete at least once in an 18 month period is a bit of a piss take.
If we have to vote again a few month later. No worries, that's part of the fun of this. Plus it may allow people to reconsider a fighter's ranking who has stuck around due to inertia.

So majority rules that Mak stays put of the top 15 for now..
Would anyone have him between 16-20?
who would those 5 be that are lurking on the outside?

for me he is in the 20-30 range at the moment, if he gets a solid win next he'll be a contender for a spot
