There's no way this can go 10.

But I also can't see a real ko unless it's round 1 or the first punch of a Round. these guys are crazy explosive and something could happen, but it will get sloppy quick and ultimently come down to whos fresher and eventually (4 or 5 rounds in) someone will be soooo tired they get stopped by a nudge.

Is it a ten rounder? How many minute rounds?

I've just watched Eddie in a charity boxing match from 2012, words escape me how dreadful they both were. Made Ricky Gervais and Grant Bovey look like seasoned veterans. The single most pathetic bout I have ever seen. Surely Thor must have seen it too and he can't possibly be as tepid as Eddie.

That’s my thinking too.

Yet Eddie Hall is favourite with the bookies. I’m trying to think what I’m missing here….,

the reasoning i see of most people picking him is basically 'i just have a feeling eddie's too tough for him'

meanwhile thor's been the one fighting pros (and knocking a few of them down), and has what, a 7 inch height advantage or something. the one other strong man thor fought he easily stopped in like a minute. definitely value if theyve made him the underdog. maybe there are just a lot of eddie fanboys out there loading up on their boi

That thread in the OT was originally posted in this section. Last year. But was moved cus it wasn’t relevant.

Most on here are discussing it now though.

If it’s as good as the recent Scottish Heavyweight title fight then we are in for a cracker.

I bet with SkyBet on it. Thor was 6/4.

Back to bloke who's been fighting like, thor is a no brainer here, experience is massive in boxing at this level. I emailed every bookies going to try get a market for it and only skybet are doing it, which is a shame as I don't want to place it online.

I couldn’t help myself after seeing Hall was the favourite. If it goes the distance I hope they do it fairly rather than the Tyson/Jones Jr decision.

Ah man this is a squash match, Thor first few rounds in an uncompetitive washout. Guy has done rounds under the lights and never mind the 6inch height difference, Eddie's arms are waaayy shorter, thor easy, it's easy to call this low level a fight, this is a wash.

Im confused about the start time. Most reports have it between 7:30 and 9pm UK time.......but Dubai is 4 hours ahead. So that would mean the fight would be on at some point between 11:30pm and 1am local time. That seems unlikely to me. I thought the Thor Eddie fight was before the pro show?

I suggest that the press have recorded the local time start as the UK time start (whoever wrote the press release for Segi should be fired if so).

So I reckon 4:30 pm is the likely UK start time

Furthermore I predict this will be an utter flop. The website doesn't seem to be able to take the traffic. Its slow and unresponsive. The forms are not generating and I can't sign up using FB or via email. The page just doesn't render. There are amateur errors sign as no description being shown in search (at least Brave) not requiring password double confirmation when signing up.

And if thyev messed up the time...... what a sh1tshow

Bet you eddie overwhelms him with aggression. £20? got a feeling he'll get there first.

Is this PPV? How do we watch it?

I don't mind this match up, two big blokes wanna tear into each other, fine.

Hall is a narcissist and Thor isn't much better.

I'm going Thor

I’ve read it’s after the pro show. I’d imagine that it’s being pushed as the main event over there.
