never underestimate how much money people can lose
obviously khan's made more than enough were he to be smart or cautious with his money, but guys richer than him have blown it by being stupid or greedy or getting their arse divorced

Now that the grudge has been settled in the ring i don't think any vaguely serious boxing fan would be willing to PPV again.
That said I'm curious as to the breakdown of the PPV numbers and the live audience. At the public workout and the weigh in British Asians made up 90% of the turnout I'd say so if this was anywhere near mirrored in the PPV numbers and the fight night attendees then you could see a rematch being financially viable. Amir seems to have a very loyal and very big fanbase who presumably would come out and support him again if he pressed the right buttons in the build up.

You don't understand how many people probably illegaly streamed the bout.. probably kodi or iptv/dodgy box etc.
A lot of Asians go out in groups as well and hit the hookah bars in Manchester and other major cities to watch the fights too.

No doubt it will be on PPV if it happens. I was actually surprised that nobody mentioned it on the night of the fight. I actually thought good on sky for not mentioning it

A mistake imo, they should both retire. I doubt many would pay to see the rematch on PPV again

Got a feeling Khan will fight on the outside, evade everything then go down with half-cuffing shots.
Collect his 4mil, say he’s not in love with boxing and announce retirement.

I hope this is just Khan being a businessman and realising that he needs cutting into any Brook/Eubank or Brook/Benn deal….

I doubt it would sell on PPV again, and I am not sure the greedy trough dwellers at SKY would even try it.
Hearn said Khan wanted buying out of his rematch option to free Brook up.

I got the impression he realised it was time to stop for the sake of his health. Hopefully that’s the case
