Larry gassed to journeyman Daniel Peret early on in his career, the solution wasnt to be found in building up muscles.
Indeed , didn’t he had EPO to the cocktail to improve the stamina ?

I met him a couple of times. Huge bloke. He used to work at the same gym a mate of mine went to.
I did have a chuckle when the ped talk was flying around because he had a habit of PMIng people about it. Obviously shit scared. Also made me laugh when he was talking about beetroot on here saying it was “natural” epo, like he wasn’t dosed enough already.

Larry was a decent bloke, almost certainly still is. I've not had any chat with him since he left here but had a bit of back and forth with him when he did. We had a few PMs, he was asking my advice on foods and diet, we actually spend a bit of time discussing beetroots and borsch (ironic given his nickname and what is happening at the moment). I knew from the bodybuilding forums he was a user before he got caught out, the guy would try almost anything to get an edge, I'm no psychologist but it seemed like a mental failing when you actually talked to him. Didn't know he'd gone into acting. Hope he's doing okay.
I spoke to Larry a week before eastenders aired. He's a recently new father and is starting to thrive in the acting world. Doing very well from what I've heard.
Good to hear, Like I said, he seemed like a decent bloke just trying to make his way in life. Pass on your best from this forum if you speak to him again.

I’ve honestly no idea. The lad was really random. I went to his flat a couple of times. He was in north London, Finsbury Park ish. He could well have worked nearer Bethnal tho.

I've mentioned it a couple of times on the forum, but I used to train at that gym and Larry worked in there, much to my surprise, as at the time it was just a fairly rough ghetto bodybuilder gym. It was maybe a year after he lost to Hughie Fury, and having met some genuine heavyweights, my only observation was that I was shocked by how small he was. He was nowhere near the biggest guy in there. I never spoke to him, as I kept myself to myself in there, but I'm sure he's a nice lad in person.
