It’s easier to KO lower level. When a lot are up, the rate of KO wins tends to decrease..
Doesn’t mean the power isn’t there.. just fighting more durable opponents and though who come to actually win.

No way. He was a puncher before his hand problems. Look how honest he kept Canelo years into his serious hand issues, which started giving him trouble after Carlos Hernandez.

Spinks Mayorga was a fun fight, I remember staying up to watch that one back in the day. Always thought that dude was a good example of 'made the most of the talent he had'. Wins over Mayorga, Judah, Karmazin at light middle, as well as giving Jermain Taylor fits at middleweight. A different set of judges away from being unified champ in two weight divisions (although I personally think Taylor just about deserved it). Not bad for a guy with zero power.

His win over Mayorga was superb. Brilliant boxer on his game.
