The reason that it bothers me is bc Spence couldn’t have demolished an opponent more without knocking him out and bc of a ridiculous 3 second span of confusion, people are crediting Ugas with not only hurting Spence, when he was not hurt, but claim that he could have knocked Spence out if he had capitalized on the opportunity.

The truth is that Spence demolished Ugas. The truth is that Ugas is nowhere in the vicinity of a championship caliber fighter at 147 and should be embarrassed about how not in the fight he was. Even Manny’s defeat of Margarito was better contested or even Canelo and Chavez Jr. this was far worse than any title fight I can remember.

And that should be the way it’s told but I’m continually hearing and reading garbage about Ugas hurting Spence. It’s laughable. Anyone that knows the game should feel same way.

On Twitter I've seen some people say "He could've stopped him" I don't think any of us here really think that. I don't doubt he could've dropped him potentially, but after that I figure Spence would've recovered, and it would've been the same thing we saw basically.

So it's much ado about nothing.

Chavez Jr. definitely didn't do better against Canelo.

Ugas DID hurt Spence. That was his only real moment in the fight. Spence still comfortably won at the very least 8 of the 10 rounds if not 9. All anyone wants to see is Spence vs Crawford, nobody is saying they think Spence is more vulnerable or beatable or anything based on this performance.

So...basically you're upset for no reason at all.
