The watches that do cost 500k, such as the higher end Pateks and Richard Milles are investments and tend to rise in value, a lot, over time.

I see loads of them where I live now and I know for a fact that they don’t get robbed at gunpoint.

What’s more distasteful, wearing a nice watch or stealing one at gunpoint?
Depends on how much the watch is and why the persons stealing it. If someone is desperate, there kids are skipping meals, and your wearing a million bucks on your wrist... Im not saying its right, but honestly, i find it less distasteful.

Im not full communist for complete distribute all wealth... but the peak of opulence is really gross in my eyes.

Put it this way, If you drive a billion dollar super yacht too close to Somalia, im on the pirates team.
Whoever stole that watch won’t be using the money to feed their kids. Probably spend it all on coke and brass.

I don’t follow him on social but a mate sent me a link to the article about him being robbed this morning and said he seen Khan (or his wife) posting on social pics of them in London yesterday with expensive looking shopping bags (assume high end brands) so people who cared would have had a fair idea where he was.

High end watch thieves are rife in London , but normally in Mayfair outside expensive clubs and restaurants.

Not smack heads/ junkies, majority tend to be Young street boys

Surprised it happened in Leyton unless someone tipped them off about Amir’s location.

Other week it was reported he’d lost £5m on his wedding venue project, and had spent £11.5m to date and it was nowhere near finished.

No wonder he wants to carry on fighting.

I’m sure they’ve still got loads but I get the impression he’s bad with money and his wife loves spending.

Now the threads about how he spends his own cash.

I need to stay off this forum. It’s went to the dogs seriously.

That’s not a recent thing. Go to off topic and youll find people who think qualified Doctors should work for a modest wage as it’s an honour to be a Doctor.

Franck Muller is out of favour as well. Not a good investment watch. I also agree that it’s hideous.

May as well be walking down the street fanning a 10k bundle of notes. Asking for it, its wrong and they are scumbags but its gonna happen. Same with all these rich tits showing off their wealth and goodies on Instagram, asking for it.

People walking down the pavement playing on a $1200 phone, not paying attention to anything around them.
Just asking for trouble.

I can remember years back getting night buses through the shadiest parts of london and you would see these skinny kids on their top end phones and laptops oblivious to the risk they were putting themselves in. Like I've said it's not right and you should be able to have nice things but if the wrong people see them.....

These are the sort of rules you follow in Latin America if you have a bit of wealth. A first world European country? It's going down the fornicating pan! It really is.

Somehow I doubt the person robbing Khan will be a hardup dad struggling to make ends meet...

Khans worked hard. He deserves to spend his money how he likes without been robbed

Went down the pan years ago mate. Only gonna get worse, on the news that 4 out of 10 families in the uk won't be able to afford to heat their homes from October.

Funny though how some people are hinting that he 'asked for it' in Colombia, if someone gets robbed of their watch, cell phone or whatever - they have the saying 'no dar papaya' don't give out papaya because someone will take it because everyone wants to eat papaya - if you wear an expensive watch in Bogota long enough then someone will take it off you and people would say 'no dar papaya/what are you doing wearing an expensive watch in public' you wouldn't get much sympathy though and it looks like London has turned into a third world capital where this is concerned. Along with the victim blaming. A sorry state of affairs and you're right I have no doubt - it will only get worse.
