although these picks are a blowout for ammo williams, im very interested in his fight vs booker. booker's an unbeaten pbc fighter and former us national am champ. he's been the a side himself until this one and is for sure a step up. a guy whose always been coming to win and not just to survive

Yea i dont know much about the fight, seen em both fight but not enough to remember details that help me predict the outcome well... But i do think its closer than our picks suggest, and i think the bookies like Ammo by stooppage a bit more than they should.

my guess is if ammo wins its slightttttly more likely a decision than a stoppage, but, the potential extra 5 points for picking the round is whats lured me in.

I love this fights when undefeated prospects fight each other ...should be far more fights like this

It's a nice fight, Booker has ability no doubt. Was a tricky one to pick for me.

I'm thinking that since predicting perfect round for the stoppage is difficult and has been quite rare, it should be worth more points. Hmmm.

I went Taylor decision after she seemed somewhat bigger than Serrano at the weigh in....Never considered the the favouritism factor. Thought a draw was fair, or Serrano to just nick it. Didn't see Taylor winning as the judges did.
But, I'll take my double points win

Well there it is, the end of April and it went with a bang! Women's boxing doesn't always get much love on here, but you have to admit, Taylor-Serrano lived up to the hype and then some. What a great scrap, and a great advert for the womens side of the sport.

With 2 stoppages and 2 decisions including 2 fights worth double points there were 70 points in total available this fight weekend.

Leading the way along with myself is adislav123 & Sammy Scaff with 55 points. Not bad fellas!

SOME FACTS & STATS
- Cent0089's gamble didn't pay off, he was the only 1 to pick a Valdez stoppage. Everyone else went with the Shakur playbook and took full points.
- Everyone decided Vargas-Smith would go the distance. It didn't.
- Nobody called a first round stoppage for Williams. Nobody has yet taken a risk and called a 1st round stoppage for a pick. (As far as I can recall)
- For the most divisive fight of the weekend most picked Serrano (10), while 7 people picked Taylor, all by stoppage, for the 10 points.

END OF APRIL LEAGUE
These results means adislav123 WINS the April league with 190 points and gets 15 aditional bonus points (205 points). Something tells me we won't see a mad rant this month and he'll be happy with the extra points!

NoScoutingReports, MightyWarrior along with Myself were joint 2nd on 165 points and so we share an extra 5 bonus points between us.

peralta was a good amateur, 2x olympian who won a bronze at the worlds and also fought in wsb a ton
