:TU He's obviously doubting himself wether he could beat Catt ,, personally i don't think he would with Davidson training him , I think His performance against Cat was a direct result of Davidsons training regime fianally kicking in up till then previously he still had Shanes way ingrained , it took Davidson a while to get that out of him and fook things up

I think he’s changed all round since Davison definitely. As a person and as a fighter.coneye wrote: ↑18 May 2022, 07:54:TU He's obviously doubting himself wether he could beat Catt ,, personally i don't think he would with Davidson training him , I think His performance against Cat was a direct result of Davidsons training regime fianally kicking in up till then previously he still had Shanes way ingrained , it took Davidson a while to get that out of him and fook things up

Hes changed a lot since Mcguigan tbh ... he seems to be wanting to get folk to dislike him. Amazing how quiet he's gone about a fight at Edinburgh Castle? That has all he ever talked about, but he's gone quite with that pish chat

After that Cat fight, if he had been up for a rematch then it’s possible folk would been behind it. Not now. Can’t get my head round the way he’s acting just now tbh.Alba wrote: ↑18 May 2022, 13:28Wee Tommy wrote: ↑18 May 2022, 08:08I think he’s changed all round since Davison definitely. Alex Arthur was always on about an Edinburgh Castle fight as well.

He has just polarised 80% of his fan base. The other 20% either don't care about fairness, or can't score a fight.Wee Tommy wrote: ↑18 May 2022, 13:34After that Cat fight, if he had been up for a rematch then it’s possible folk would been behind it. Mind you, plenty of fighers have made big bucks with the boxing public paying to hopefully see them get their comeuppance.
As long as he keeps winning, and being and areswipe, he is possibly going to be more bankable

I'm wating for him to start brushing his hair back with his hand , and the deft little flick of the head ,, while he looks up and starts every sentence , with a Errm , whilst thinking which bit of wordly knoledge he's going to enlighten us withWee Tommy wrote: ↑18 May 2022, 13:34After that Cat fight, if he had been up for a rematch then it’s possible folk would been behind it. Taylor made Catt look a stone lighter tbh.
So much advantage but struggled a lot against him.
No wonder he stays at 140lbs.
Someone 120-108s him at welter at the top level.
If not stops him.

Re: Josh Taylor vs. Jose Zepeda - WBC Order
tAYLOR IS PROVING TO BE A PRICK IN FACT A DILLUSIONAL PRICK but lets not forget the fact that he did'nt award himself that fight , it was the either Bent or incompetant officials ,,, Has such the BBBC should be partitioning the bodies to force a rematch with Catteral
But then again , they have a ready made answer , if you will not dis allow that result based on your judges being incompetant or bent or both , why should we , officially Cat lost .
This is why i'm quickly going off boxing , its always been dodgy just nowadays more blatant , throw in all the ducking and diving and the sports stuffed

I agree with your point about the awarding off the fight. I would say though, he should just keep his mouth shut and not engage and he wouldn't piss of folk.coneye wrote: ↑18 May 2022, 23:47 tAYLOR IS PROVING TO BE A PRICK IN FACT A DILLUSIONAL PRICK but lets not forget the fact that he did'nt award himself that fight , it was the either Bent or incompetant officials ,,, Has such the BBBC should be partitioning the bodies to force a rematch with Catteral

Most folk can accept he didn't score it, it was a hometown decision, we've seen them afore and we will unfortunately see them again. However when he goes on the way he does, the way he hits out and the manner he does it he's not winning any friends. Boxing is hard enough sport to cross over, his fight there was his opportunity to do that especially in Scotland but he's fucked it.

obviously ttaylor should rematch cat, but this is a pretty good fight, vs a sharp southpaw with some power

Hope this fight happens, and Zepeda gives Josh another humbling! His attitude and delusion in the aftermath of the Catterall fight has been mind blowing. Textbook way to alienate people and lose fans. Very weird behaviour.
Re: Josh Taylor vs. Jose Zepeda - WBC Order
Was bored last night so watched Zepeda v Baranchyuk.
Top shooting.
Zepeda will not be easy fight. And he would’ve watched what Catt fight and seen what a southpaw with a game plan can do.

ya, understandably ppl not happy about the cat situation, but tbh zepeda might be even better than cat and is at minimum a dangerous opponent. southpaw with power and skill (work rate is his isse)

Taylor has confirmed he will be staying at 140,, to allow a rematch against Catterall.

Only fight really to put things right, he probably can't go a day without someone trolling/abuse Online, If he beats him easily in the 2nd, then all that will go away.
