If we are talking late December of 1989 just 2 months shy of when Douglas out worked out boxed and kicked the crap out of Tyson. And Tim would come in the best shape of his life focused and in tip top shape he could pull the upset.
But odds are Tyson takes Tim out late

That's one fight that I always wanted to see.

Witherspoon's signature punch was the overhand Right: I remember Bonecrusher really hurting Tyson with a huge overhand Right at the very end of their snorefest in '87, but barely anyone noticed because the fight ended.

Tyson was tottering at the end & was probably fortunate that Smith didn't get the chance to follow up, although judging by the way Boneclutcher clung onto Tyson like a limpet, they would have need another 3 fights before Smith attempted a follow up punch.

The main issue would be Witherspoon's discipline, but a properly prepared & fit Terrible is a problem for anybody.
