How does Boxrec have Serrano still above Taylor in the division and also pound for pound?

Yes Serrano Robbed twice, along with Persoon. Taylor must be the Queen of robberies, not watching another one of her fights.

For one thing Serrano was robbed, for a second thing, Serrano went up 3 divisions to fight Taylor.

It was awkward how not a single judge had it for Serrano. I thought she won narrowly, so I wouldn't have been upset with her picking an SD or MD or even with a draw. It was a close fight but she was a point or 2 ahead, when the judge deducted a point from Taylor, I thought that pretty much sealed it.

The big issue for me, aside from the decision being wrong is trying to understand how 2 judges gave the second round to Taylor. I thought the fight was pretty one sided until the cut. Even the 3rd round where she was cut, I thought it was pretty clear Serrano round.

I had it 97-92 for Serrano. The fact that it was a UD for Taylor makes it obvious that it was a robbery, and that nothing short of a KO was gonna get Serrano the win, and with it being Women's Boxing, a KO is always unlikely anyway so the judges can rig decisions easy as pie with the ladies because it going to the scorecards is all but guaranteed.
I believe Taylor keeps getting gift decisions because they know that a fight between her and Claressa Shields is one of the few fights Women's Boxing has where they both have name value, and Olympic Credentials and all that. So I think they're trying to keep Katie winning so that they can hopefully sell that one down the road.
Taylor will have no chance against Shields, but the judges may give it to her anyway. Winning fights she didn't win is quickly becoming her Legacy as a Professional Boxer, and it's already lowered her standing tremendously in my eyes.

Given the weight difference, I am doubtful a Shields vs Taylor fight ever happens.
Gift decisions could just be a result of her being one of maybe 2 female boxers that can draw a crowd.

Why did Canelo win in his first two fights against Golovkin? Why did Katie Taylor win in her two fights against Amanda Serrano? The answer is the same and it is not because Canelo was better than Golovkin or Taylor was better than Serrano.

Laila was the draw though, I don't know a heap about Martin but I doubt she was making anything close to Laila Ali money at the time. In this case, I think Taylor is the draw regardless of Shields accolades.

Have to be more than 1 with the 10 point deduction.

Yes, but doesn't a draw need another draw to attract attention.
We could have Katie Taylor vs Claressa Shields or Katie Taylor vs Who's That Girl? Which is all the rest of her possible opponents basically.
Maybe if you're a legit Superstar you can get by, by simply being the A side, and fighting a no name, but in Women's Boxing there really are no A sides. You need 2 names to get even a slight bit of interest.

I had the 3rd and the 10th even. Let's be honest some of those rounds were awfully damn close. I always say when in doubt make it an even round.

I usually tend to score it one way or the other, and mark an asterix above it or something to indicate that it's a swing round, but even rounds definitely are something that oughta be used more in Boxing. They used to have even rounds all the time. When you hear the scorecards read on some classic fights there's often a sh*t load of even rounds.

I don't disagree but does Shields have much of a following? If Netflix money is involved, and they can use the argument that last time she was on Netflix they had 50m viewers then I could see it being worth the risk/reward for Taylor, otherwise why take a definite loss at 38 for peanuts when you're worth a a few million.
