Laila was the draw though, I don't know a heap about Martin but I doubt she was making anything close to Laila Ali money at the time. In this case, I think Taylor is the draw regardless of Shields accolades.

Yes, but doesn't a draw need another draw to attract attention.

We could have Katie Taylor vs Claressa Shields or Katie Taylor vs Who's That Girl? Which is all the rest of her possible opponents basically.

Maybe if you're a legit Superstar you can get by, by simply being the A side, and fighting a no name, but in Women's Boxing there really are no A sides. You need 2 names to get even a slight bit of interest.
