Only good thing about Mung is he’s very active and he’s 25., but we know he can have with top level contenders. So why not give us that.

I’d rather he fight 2-3 times a year against top guys than 5 fights against those he can beat.

It’s super middleweight??

Why couldn’t he fight D Jacobs?? Both with DAZN, surely can’t be a money issue.

Yeah - he was doing well early doors. Partly because of him fighting well but I think it was just as much due to Munguia giving him no respect.

Munguia will need to be a hell of a lot tighter if he’s fighting Charlo or Andrade.

Kelly did a lot better than I expected, but power just too much for him. Munguia remains pretty average looking but got the job done again.

mungy is one of those guys i like that most people seem not to. i generally find him a fun watch. he's flawed for sure but i enjoy his power and big combos. i also like that he's staying active, but its pretty clear he's been steered clear of certain opponents, and is overdue in fighting a good one.

he was poor here, judges had him ahead but he prob should've been down on the cards, but showed the type of stuff i like at the end

It’s the flaws that make him rather exciting to watch.

He carried on like this and he’s gonna get his clock cleaned.

Full credit to Kelly gave a better account of himself than I thought he would've, good jab, his left hook was top drawer, led and countered with it beautifully, Munguia looked slow and sluggish, his opposition clearly not motivating him, still it was almost inevitable he would get to Kelly and sure enough in the 5th he found the breakthrough, dropped Kelly with a left hook,, Kelly got up and took fight to Munguia but was down again this time by a lovely right uppercut on inside, Munguia waded in and forced Kelly down for a third and final time, think it was body shots that done damage for the finish

De La Hoya has mentioned several times that Munguia and Zurdo were gonna better Mayweather's 50-0 and when you see the recent opposition you do wonder if he's making a clear attempt of getting them to it
