Why not leak the slimy conduct of these promotors? Pretending to give real interviews and be open to questions but then coming out with that kind of rubbish before the interview. This was a boxing wikileaks job and just as I commend Julian Assange, I commend this whistleblower too! My face isn't rammed up Ben Shalom or other boxing figures a*ses!!

Guys - it is absolutely standard practice.
Surely no one is naive enough to believe that every promoter, sportsman, film star, musician doesn’t do this around a tricky situation?
This was my thinking as well. Surprised people are so shocked and outraged by it to be honest

Ben 'Box Office' Shalom showing that he is no different to the rest. Unlucky Benjamin. Probably best to drop the act entirely now.

Ben did an interview with Koogs discussing it. He said he did nothing wrong as he doesn’t want to talk about other fighters/networks (despite mentioning AJ every interview a couple of weeks back) and he also said how bad it was that someone shared the video.

there was a very extensive 20 page thread on another forum with loads of detail and evidence about it, unsurprisingly i believe it got taken down, i have little doubt ben or someone connected with him/boxxer got in touch
it was almost fornier levels of bullsh!tting . i guess that's how you get a gig like this at 27

Talking of chancers. Is there a bigger one than Kugan Cassius.
How he has the front to suggest some interviewers go with the intent of asking questions not relevant to fight week when he's by far the biggest instigator of it. Him and Umar are terrible for it.
Not sure how he's come out of all the MTK stuff unscathed either being one of their biggest cheer leaders.

I used to quite like Kugan but he’s got a little more annoying as the years have gone on. It’s a tricky spot for these guys though as if they ask challenging questions then it’ll worsen relationships and reduce access to certain fighters/managers/promoters. I found the interview with Shalom frustrating as Koogs tried to imply that they don’t look for clickbait headlines on IFL whilst in reality that’s their bread and butter.
I really dislike Umar’s interviews with FW as Umar is full of praise for whatever FW does. Needs more of a balance which I always thought Rob Tebbutt at Boxing Social and Danny Flex at SecondsOut tend to have.

What i really dislike about most of these u tube interviewers is the fact there hard to understand , they don't speak clearly , mutter and stutter , with bad equipment ,, its like me trying to say i'm a journalist , and i can't even spell

I am stunned no matter how he comes across that Sky entertain Shalom only being 27.
Is he really that knowledgeable about boxing?
I also question how he handles older members of the sport.

I quite like Shalom - he’s clearly a smooth talker and speaks with grace.
Between him and Smith, SKY have been busier and made more impact than many anticipated against BT and DAZN. He also condemned the Taylor-Catterall shambolic scoring.
What’s not to like?

I like Ben too.
Think people are harsh on him.
There’s much worse out there.

How is Kugan a chancer? He's worked his spuds off for a decade doing what he's doing. Not my sort of journalist or media but I don't think it's right to suggest he doesn't deserve to be in the position he is in.
*he maybe treated Jane Couch less than ideally. That said, I like Jane but her interviews were terrible and it was the right decision of the business to not stick with her.
As to Ben Shalom. Don't know him but good luck to him.
