Anybody paying for this is nuts.
What a total waste of time.
Imagine actually paying for this. When he was doing the odd exhibition I don’t mind. He’s being paid money for whatever efforts.
But now it’s getting ridiculous. He’s planning 3-4 different exhibitions at a time..

I hope the Japanese guy destroys him. That is exactly what I would do if I were him. That is how you really make your name.
Floyd is a double talking stooge. If he beats me it is 3 rounds and it doesn't count. It is all up to me on if he lasts 3 rounds or I take him out in 1.
This MMA Japanese guy has shit Floyd cannot deal with and will crumple from. He needs to say F the rules and let his legs go. Just rip Floyd a new arsehole right through his mid section. Drop that mf'r on the spot and then spit on him on the canvas.
After that you pay whatever fines and take it to the press. F that punk fighting bitch who always controls the rules to his advantage. The first second his wimpy rules are not followed he is destroyed by a real fighter.
That is how you make your name for this Japanese guy. Nobody will ever forget you and you will make way more money later than you lose from breaking the rules. Kick the f'n shit out of Floyd and shock the world. No holds barred....no mercy. Put Floyd's arse out.

Supply and demand I guess.
Makes no sense to me, I don't watch them, let alone pay for them.

Even the McGregor fight was a sham, and Floyd later admitted to as much.

IF its sanctioned pro fight you have to go for Jake paul. simply must. Seeing mayweather lose his precious 0 would be the funniest thing in the world. Jake paul would become pretty insufferable, but would be worth it.

Yeh. I agree. I’d root for Jake Paul.
Now that fight would do some very high buys.

Floyd is obviously after that one last payday. Connor McGreggor can't bring it, neither can Manny Pac. I expect Canelo vs Mayweather II to be announced soon.

Not in a million years. Why would he face Canelo when he is making millions fighting hand picked opposition? He can make a ton of cash doing what he is doing now with no risk to his zero and little risk to his body.
A second fight with Canelo would never happen and the thought of it is laughable

Cause he would beat him again.

I'm a huge fan of Mayweather's skill. But he is 45 and is not going to fight Canelo and could not beat him at this point in his life. No way in Hell

Well I am not a fan of Mayweather. I never liked him, the way he fought vs Pac, the way he ducked SSM for years or was it a decade, all the lame stuff that he said etc.
I did however read that he paid for Genaro Hernandez's funeral, that was nice of him anyway.
As for Canelo I think that in many ways he is a much more respectable operator.
If the two meet up again I predict a Mayweather win. As for the question if they will meet up again, if there is any truth to the McGreggor fight being worth 1 billion then no that will never happen. If on the otherhand that one never materializes or Mayweather gets his wish and acctually loses funds on it then Canelo vs Floyd II just might happen.

I said I am a fan of Mayweather's skill. Not of his personality or choices.
No way in hell McGregor vs Mayweather would be worth 1 billion dollars.
And again ZERO CHANCE of a Canelo Mayweather rematch.

It’s easy money, though, isn’t it?
Floyd is having fun and taking no risks.
He’s 45 years of age and allegedly receiving tens of millions of dollars to face no-hopers.
Even if the purse amounts being cited are exaggerated, he’ll still be earning more than 99% of today’s top-ten world-rated fighters (for a few minutes' worth of work, since he clearly doesn't engage in proper training camps).
I don’t watch any of these circus events, but others clearly do. And it doesn’t really bother me that people enjoy watching them.
Floyd's next exhibition against Deji in November will definitely do big numbers, commercially-speaking.
So I don’t know what else to say really… on one hand, these exhibitions are laughably bad sporting spectacles, but on the other, people are willing to fund them and these events do big numbers (otherwise they wouldn't keep getting staged).
And Floyd Mayweather Jr. is only guilty of satisfying market demand and exploiting opportunities we’d all take if we were wearing his shoes.
