I think his true personality is starting to shine through.

I have worked on 2 shows which Usyk has boxed on and I highly rate him as both a boxer and as a person. The bloke is nuts!!

I hope he totally dominates AJ

Yeah that reads well but the reality and I bet consensus is you follow your own. I've had one too many to trawl back through the archives but be interesting to see how many posters supported Usyk pre the first fight in comparison to as of now.

Not really. It’s only natural to want sporting success for your country, as there’s a lot of economic benefits and wider opportunities that can come from it, as well as some intangibles like a better ‘morale’ within the country and more general interest for the sport in your local area.

Usyk. I’d also cheer for him against Fury, Whyte & probably any other heavyweight. Although I don’t mind either Joyce or Dubois.

Like him as a fighter & a person. His attitudes brilliant. Have gloves, will travel. Took big fights without his trainer, fought Breidis in Latvia, Gassiev in Russia, Hunter in US, Glowacki in Poland, Huck in Germany, Joshua, Bellew & Chisora in Britain.

If he wanted to he could’ve easily stayed with K2 & been the home fighter in Germany for the majority of his career like the Klitschko’s did but he’s got no fear at all. He’s everything I want in a fighter.

Usyk is the don. He’ll fight anyone anywhere. So refreshing in this day. What’s not to like about the guy ?

AJ is 100% all about the money. Fair play, money is important, but he has more than enough already. So for me ots greed now.

Do you know what happenned in camp prior to his last fight ,, I read on here there were problems with too many chiefs not enough cooks scenario , inexperienced trainers taking over ect ect ,,, They just came out and said there were problems , alluding to Mckracken ,, but to be honest i just can't believe that an Experienced guy like Mckracken stuffed up all of a sudden , after all his experience training boxing , ect i can't believe he did'nt know the tactics were wrong its not rocket science ,, ,
It was always a case of don't try to outbox a better boxer and mover , BUT and its a big BUT ,, be careful how you pressure him , he hits hard and caan make you pay i don't believe Mckracken did'nt know that , I think Garcia will have him putting the pressure on in the correct way , , but i reckon has soon has aj GETS CLOCKED OR FRUSTRATED HE WILL GO ALL STIFF AND SLOW not too mention he'll probably gass out after 5 rnds again

AJ just isn’t good enough for Usyk. He’s Frank Bruno the second.

I love Usyk, he’s my favourite current fighter but I want to see Joshua v Fury and for it to be for the Undisputed. I have put impartial as Usyk winning would make me happy as well. I said after he went undisputed at Cruiserweight that he would beat Joshua and Fury at Heavyweight so I would kind of like to see myself proven right

I don't feel it's as clear cut for Usyk to win as most here suggest; it's still 50/50 for me .. a more assertive, aggressive but much more determined AJ can be wearing Usyk down by sheer size.

But of course Usyk has already demonstrated his superior skills so he will start favourite.

I would like to see Usyk beat AJ again, then save us from more Fury rubbish .. then continue being the quiet, bit bonkers, fight anyone type of guy he has been up until now

Joshua all the way, I like the big punchers up there and even more so if they’re a bit vulnerable : it leads to unforgettable nights like the NY Ruiz fight.

Usyk is a bit “zany” so everyone loves his schtick, but I’d love to see Josh flatten him regardless

I always thought Clinton Woods was a bit nuts but Usyk beats him hands down in the nutter stakes.

i think the thing that turns AJ off with a lot of people- and it's the exact reverse with Usyk- is that AJ clearly takes himself very seriously. absolutely no ability to be self-effacing (and not much self-awareness either seemingly)
