He really did'nt have to throw combinations like Marciano to win this fight ,, he just had to throw punches ,, He pays out HUGE MONEY to these trainers , and what do they do , they have him trying to outbox a better boxer ,, fook sake its not rocket science , get him super fit , get him so he can throw punches for 12 rnds at pace ,, Once thats done instruct him to throw punches , rnd 10 he's looking to slow him down with body shots , that train fooked off long before , knock him out , to do that throw punches , your the bigger guy with the heavier hands , stay on top throwing punches and Usyk will be pushed off balance , or defending . Ok he'll come back with the occasional counter but by and large he will not want them heavy hands to land he'll defend , AJ's best rnd was when he went for it and done excatly that , he had Usyk covering up , at the very least you have Usyk defending , not hitting you , big guy like him should of been in attack mode from the get go .

There is no way in a million years AJ could ever be fit enough to throw punches at pace for 12 rounds. What planet are you on?

To be fair to him according to a lot on here and doubtless everyone else he 'just needed to be aggressive and throw more punches' to beat Usyk. I can see where he came from with that one

Well he had one decent round where made an impression on usyk by.......throwing lots of punches.

I don't know why they waited until the 8th for that, other than to try and preserve energy to see final bell. He paid the price in the following round and most likely would have been stopped anyway if emptied tank from round 1 but to me this was barely an improvement on the first fight.

The most draining thing a boxer can do is throw punches at thin air and that was and always will be the problem when fighting somebody as elusive as Usyk.

Joshua's text book long right hand was easy to avoid. Usyk knew it was coming and simply got out of the way.

I thought it was a superb fight. Joshua gave everything he had but Uysk is just brilliant.

However, I thought Joshua's behaviour after the fight was just awful. He totally stole Uysk's thunder, especially during this tragic period of time for Ukraine, when Uysk will have wanted to address his nation.

If I am being generous, I would say that Joshua might have been concussed, as he was flip flopping all over the place: arguing with Uysk, throwing his belts out of the ring, grabbing the mic and talking about himself before praising Uysk, who looked embarrassed and disappointed by it all. A sad way for Joshua to finish the evening after such a superb effort in the ring earlier.

There's no excusing Joshua's behaviour. Uncountable boxers have lost heavyweight title fights and we have never seen anyone respond that psychotically, bar Tyson in the ear bite fight.

Is Joshua the first man to be concussed? Gutted? His response is unprecedented. The man is clearly crazy.

Funny thing is, I'm a massive Marciano fan... And I don't ever remember people classifying The Rock as a great combination boxer... Joe Louis perhaps?

It was a bit bizarre, storming out the ring, throwing the belts and confronting Usyk and saying "you're not strong how did you beat me, I had character and determination'

However none of us know what it's like to be him at that level and all eyes on you. The stress and disappointed must have been immense. Plus as others said he might've been slightly concussed. On the mic he praised Usyk but maybe not the time to do it but I wouldn't kick him when he is down as it was an emotional reaction.

It was attention seeking on a massive scale. He knew he had a worldwide audience, no belts and coming off another loss. It was all he could do to steal Usyk's moment.
