I wouldn’t be surprised if he faces Chisora next, but given that he was there supporting AJ and they appear to be friends how can they even sell that fight? Hrgovic would be a good option, beatable and highly ranked but I doubt he would risk his IBF mandatory shot.
Perhaps Dillian Whyte? Whyte would welcome the chance to avenge his loss and AJ would see it as a winnable fight.
Hrgovic would probably get paid more against Joshua than fighting for a world title

Will anyone care especially if Fury v Usyk gets signed ? Why would anyone pay to see Joshua recycled again, he has no chance of a win agaInst either Fury or Usyk and anything else is worthless.
Because people watch good fights that aren't against 1 and 2 and because AJ is still a massive draw. Compare it to Mike Tyson when he wasn't champion and was still selling huge PPVs and venues. AJ has a similar drawing power
When people are skint the last thing they will think of is paying to see a fighter like Joshua

Joshua is still going to be marketable to the casuals though. Who are the majority, let's be honest.

Is good to see that AJ has the desire to come back, he def isn't coming back for the money!
Fast car will get the promotion and the opponent right.
He will prob be back in Nov/Dec and then again about 5 months later.
By then Fury and Usyk will have done their thing, the belts will prob be fragmented and AJ will fight for the title again.
Outside of Usyk and Fury I fancy AJ to beat anyone, style wise it will be a great fight against Wilder.

Nowhere near as much. He's a Dillian Whyte now.

Not sure how you market a boxer with 3 bad defeats on his record to the casuals ? Once you're on the downhill side of the slope nobody is interested

Do casuals care about losses?

I've got faith in fast car promotion and matching.
He will come back at the O2 not a football stadium, a couple of confidence builders then a vacant title

Otto Wallin Very Eager To Face Anthony Joshua in December
"I think it makes a lot of sense for me and Joshua to fight each other. People in the UK know me for giving Fury one of his toughest fights in his career and I get a lot of support from over there. I’m always training and trying to get better and I can’t wait to go over to the UK and earn my right for another shot at Fury by beating Anthony Joshua," Wallin told OLBG.
"It was a great fight and both guys stepped it up from last time. I was actually impressed with Joshua’s adjustments for this fight. I didn’t think he was going to be able to put up such a good performance against Usyk but he proved me and I’m sure a lot of other people wrong. Usyk really had to dig deep and he once again showed that he’s a brilliant fighter but we also saw that no one is untouchable," Wallin said.

Will be Zhang… at the 02 or in China.
Would be fun as long as it lasts .

zhang rather than hrg?
hrg's mandatory now but the reality is that aj is still the money fight for him so i doubt he'd reject a josh fight to wait on a title shot. he's still the guy who won the fight, has the unbeaten record, and based on last fight looks ready to be ktfo. and has worked with hearn regularly hasnt he
now that i've typed that, hrg makes so much sense lol

Wouldn’t be surprised to not see Hrgovic not fight for some time. I know he pulled out last time because he was struggling with a bereavement and at times against Zhang looked like he wanted to get knocked out tbh.
Apparently he missed every presser in fight week and didn’t do a single interview. When you’re just about to become mando for essentially 3 belts you’d think you’d make some noise and put in a more determined performance.
Something not mentally right with him. That Hrgovic who fought the Chinese Valuev gets beaten within 90 secs against AJ.

I'd like to see him face the winner of Parker Joyce- that has a mandatory position on the line.
Eddie's probably going to push for Whyte because he can sell the redemption/beef and its more winnable for AJ and easier to get made.

Whyte would be a massive step back, the casuals wouldn't go for it, they've just seen him smashed by Fury.
Maybe someone like the off-radar (for good reason) types that fell over for Haye's comeback?

They'll give him an absolute tomato can. Hearn was slagging Fury's recent record at the presser - that AJ hasn't been fighting no Tom Schwarz. Bit rich considering they got the belts off Charles Martin before stepping up to Eric Molina. Pulev, Takam & Povetkin are practically pensioners too. AJs next fight will be an excersize in raising his stock vs some no hoper. They'll probably wheel out Mariusz Wach.

Wilder, Whyte, Ruiz, DDD, Jarrell miller, fury. Big money bounce back….
Dempsey or otto for a bit of southpaw training….
But I personally think he needs to go on a little tour away knocking out over matched opponents. Just chin 5 or 6 c or d level guys in there own home stadium. Back to back to back then try get his real career back moving.
Zhang in china would be mint on all accounts, but I hope AJ doesn’t steal that from chisora…

Yeah, I'd like to see Joshua vs the winner of Joyce vs Parker.
Joyce is an absolute tank but he's so easy to hit he might come unstuck against Parker if the kiwi brings his A game.
