Where does Charr rank in terms of Fury's opponents since Cunningham in 2013?
Cunningham, Abell, Chisora, Hammer, Klitschko, Seferi, Pianeta, Wilder, Schwarz, Wallin and Whyte. You'd have to think he's in the bottom three out of 11 after Seferi and Pianeta. An argument could be made for no more than 5th worst even if you're being favourable.
I'd probably say in order of worse first.
Seferi
Abel
Schwarz
Pianeta / Charr (I see these as the same level).
Hammer
Wallin
Cunnugham
Chisora
Whyte / Wilder
Klitchscko.
Wilder for me has to be above Whyte come on.
Whyte is nearer Chisora
Whyte has beat Chisora twice, Parker and Povetkin. Wilder has beaten Ortiz and nobody else worth mentioning.

Povetkin could barely walk on that night after being taken out of the covid hospital. And what he did to Whyte a fight before being declined in any case. It's tough to see the chinny Whyte surviving against Wilder.

Charr’s come out and said he’s signed a deal with Frank to fight either Fury, Dubois or Joyce.
It’s a poor fight for all 3 of them.
Assuming it’s standard BT, I think Dubois - Charr is an acceptable fight.
Joyce is PPV now, so that would be a very poor fight.

As for Fury, it would be just dreadful
Agree re: Dubois vs Charr if it’s on regular. I still think it’s an easy fight for Dubois though who I’m not sure has fought anyone with a chance against him since he was beaten by Joyce.

I wouldn't mind seeing Fury vs Kaybel (which was once nearly signed) as a basic tune up for Usyk - anything below Kaybel should not be PPV and probably should not be for the WBC title.

I'd normally be cheering for Fury, but I'll be cheering for a Charr upset stoppage if this happens. It'd just be hilarious. Charr is ranked #62 on boxrec and not even top 15 in the WBC rankings, so where this fight has popped up from is anyone's guess.

If Fury wants it then Charr will miraculously pop up in the WBC’s top 15 next month.

Sling Fury in with Dubois, failing that Johnny Fisher or a reincarnated Tom Dallas.

Does this fight actually make any money?
Surely Tysons guarantees go out the window pushing for this shite.
They will be giving the tickets away and id rather spend the PPV moneys knocking the thermostat up a few degrees for the night

Tony Bellew Questions Why Fury is Even Considering a Charr Fight
“Any man who negotiates over social media is crazy,” Bellew told Pro Boxing Fans.
“You don’t negotiate mega, huge fights on two weeks' notice. It just doesn’t happen. It’s insane to think it’s possible.”
“Are you surprised about [Fury-Joshua] not going down well?” Bellew added.
“Supposedly the lineal heavyweight champion of the world facing a guy who’s not even in the top 20. If AJ comes out and says he’s fighting Manuel Charr next coming off the back of two losses, would you be happy?
“Why is the lineal heavyweight champion who’s defeated Deontay Wilder in three fights back-to-back, we all know the first fight wasn’t a draw, why is he being allowed to face Manuel Charr? You tell me. It’s one rule for one, one rule for the other.
“All I know is look at AJ’s list. Full of Olympic gold medalists, Olympic champions, world champions, undisputed champions, it’s just full of champions after champions."

I'm glad Bellew is on the graveyard streaming app dazn so I don't have to listen to his Joshua obsession. He's embarrassing a grown man riding AJ.
Should be enough time for Conor Benn to put on a couple of stones

Let's call it for what it is... Tyson Fury could fight both Chisora and Charr on the same night and leave the ring without a scratch on him... This should never be a professional contest but rather an exhibition because the disparity between the heavyweight champion of the world and these two men is so far that it's simply not competitive.
