Re: Nick Ball vs. Rafael Pedroza | BT Sport - 11 November 2022
It’s a prospect show at York Hall.
They should keep it.
They’re head to head with Probellum who are on YouTube.
BT should put this on their YouTube as well.

First saw it on Friday. Let’s see what happens.
Re: Nick Ball vs. Rafael Pedroza | BT Sport - 11 November 2022
only about 10 people will watch the Probellum show, that will go down to about 4 when Edwards is on.

in the Edwards world title fight next fight topic there are 15 posts, 2 from other users and rest just copy and paste posts from ruthless

classic mistake of buying a ticket FW and not waiting a few days before the fight.Deserter wrote: ↑06 Nov 2022, 15:20Really hope not as i've bought tickets for this.

I know, I know.... would never normally do it, but got my father-in-law coming up from Bristol for the weekend so took a roll of the dice. The most damning indictment is that I'm not even surprised...

They’d have time to find some sort of credible replacement.
Is there anything competitive on the undercard?
Re: Nick Ball vs. Rafael Pedroza | BT Sport - 11 November 2022
not really, but interested in to see how Hutchinson and Adeleye look #clutchingatstrawsmaverick23 wrote: ↑06 Nov 2022, 16:32They’d have time to find some sort of credible replacement.

Bricktop’s cards have been much more reliable over the last year or so. I doubt he has any more pullouts on average nowadays then Eddie or Boxxer suffer.
Hopefully the matchmakers can find a decent replacement.

I think he’s been better with his main shows this year. His smaller ones not so much. This show was already planned for October (with tickets being sold) before being pushed back and Chamberlain coming off the main event.Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑06 Nov 2022, 17:04Bricktop’s cards have been much more reliable over the last year or so. Hopenfully the matchmakers can find a decent replacement.
Fingers crossed for a decent replacement for Ball.

It says they found a replacement. He’s popped up on the Rec’ schedule aswell so it seems everything is ok. I’m quite looking forward to seeing Adeleye, Hutchinson and Carl Fail, so glad it’s sorted.

Nothing on Warren's or BTs twitter about Pedroza withdrawing, amateurs , wouldn't be surprised if its another Queensbury visa issue

In fairness would it really matter? I’m a die hard boxing fan and I’ve heard of no one on the away side of this show. Just doesn’t look professional assuming they’re changing the opponent and keeping quiet about it.handsofstone wrote: ↑07 Nov 2022, 13:18 Nothing on Warren's or BTs twitter about Pedroza withdrawing, amateurs , wouldn't be surprised if its another Queensbury visa issue

Considering its the main event, you'd have thought Frank or BT would've let the 34 fans who'll be in attendance knowmaverick23 wrote: ↑07 Nov 2022, 13:22In fairness would it really matter? Talk about making an issue out of nothing..Pedraza, Rubio, who cares- it doesn’t make any difference to anybody who will be watching. It’s the same calibre of opponent.handsofstone wrote: ↑07 Nov 2022, 13:34Considering its the main event, you'd have thought Frank or BT would've let the 34 fans who'll be in attendance knowmaverick23 wrote: ↑07 Nov 2022, 13:22In fairness would it really matter? Yeah. Doesn’t mean there can’t be an interesting fight or two. Perhaps even a 75/25 fight on paper.

You’re right. I remember the NXTGEN cards were pretty decent matches most the time.maverick23 wrote: ↑07 Nov 2022, 13:55Yeah. Doesn’t mean there can’t be an interesting fight or two. Perhaps even a 75/25 fight on paper.
He should put prospects against each other.

The NXTGEN shows were good for what they are. They just seemed to be in place of the main shows though towards the end.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑07 Nov 2022, 14:05You’re right. I used to quite like the Fight Skool (was that how it was spelt?!) shows too. On a Thursday night and we still had boxing on either the Friday or Saturday. Used to usually have a meaningful fight as the main event too with a prospect stepping up. I’m pretty sure Macklin lost a close one to Andrew Facey on one of the first ones.
