No excuse for this one. Fully expect 'I accidentally took my wife's drugs'

It will be a black eye for the sport and all involved if it goes ahead - its the number 1 sports story on the BBC website. This isn't going to be a RJJ vs Richard Hall which only the hardcore fans are aware of. For the good of the sport (which Matchroom have not been in recent years) and for once in your life think about the sport and not the back pockets.

Fair play to Robert Smith is he has made this call. More of a man than I thought. Good on him.
It could of course be that Conor has folded under the pressure of an incoming media storm.

Going to be embarrassing seeing Eddie speaking up for his man despite the failed tests

What does that do to Benn's legacy....will his sponsors leave him?

clomiphene is normally used to treat infertility in women, the WADA bans it in athletes because it can also help restart natural testosterone production.

The fact that this has been covered up, and only a Mail expose brought it out before the fight, absolutely stinks.

Word is the lawyers are arguing the fight should take place despite what has happened.
If the fight does take place despite the BBBofC letter stating otherwise for me it will say everything about boxing.
Highly embarrassing for the sport of boxing.

Eubank should ask for 50% of benn purse. Or go home.

The only way this fight can take place is a special injunction taken out by the lawyers forcing
The hand of the BBBofC.
Reason for looking into it is because the "not in the interests of boxing" ruling seemed odd - if a British licence-holder had tested positive, they could have suspended him until the B sample was tested and could have said that the fight could not take place as one of the two boxers was under suspension. So has the organisation that licences him not yet suspended him?

It is too late for another sanctioning body.
It took weeks to organise Haye v Chisora
Indeed. And that was only possible as neither had a BBBofC licence. Whereas Eubank Jr does.
