Michael Dokes vs Bobby Crabtree. Bobby really hurt Dokes and knocked his gumshield out (Dokes caught it)before getting sickened by an awesome body shot.

Caractacus, not really seeing the 'come from behind' (Louis wasn't dropped, hurt or even flustered) but it is a beautiful video. That first knockdown by Louis was sweet. Had to watch it on replay to really appreciate the quick left hook as Retzlaff came in. The second knockdown was a real reminder of the second Schmeling fight. The way Max was hung up, trying to turn away from those body shots and Retzlaff doing the same. Films like this should be watched today to get a real appreciation of what Louis brought to the table.

If you ever listen to the audio of Louis' second fight with Schmeling after it's over Clem McCarthy the blow by blow announcer says that Louis' performance was as easy as he had with Charley Retzlaff.

Whooa! Never knew that one. They just looked similar in fashion the way they were turning away from the body shorts on the ropes. Thanks for the heads-up on that one, Rog.

If so, videos would be great.

I also like this one, which was down the card and very kindly uploaded by one of our own.

Struggling to see the punch that did it on this one ? Big reaction tho
