Marting looked like the man in charge and the one who was most comfortable the whole fight.

to me it was 96-93 but I would even be ok with 95-94 for Martin. But Teo is still being prepped for one good run and makes business sense

A totally unimpressive win for Lopez. I had him edgeing, but a tougher counterpuncher than the timid Martin would have given Lopez a harder lesson. The ref also missed a KD in the 7th, which could have been crucial.

Anderson won Forrest in a more impressive fashion than Pulev and Franklin.

ESPN let themselves down with the 10 round main events.

Well obviously stats aren't everything, but they DO show that Martin threw more and landed more in EVERY round except R7 - where he threw more and landed the same !
Plus he got a KD.

Jared Anderson now # 26 on BoxRec. Will be interesting to see his next fight if it's a good step up. Still pulling back after throwing can get him in trouble vs a better fighter.

Everyone knows who the real winner was and despite Martin being an ugly style fighter he'll get plenty of work.
Really disappointed about Teo. He looked special a while back but now looks like a limited fighter with a bit of power if you give him chance to use it.
