Just watched Hagler - Hearns for the millionth time...Hearns had no legs left from as early as late in round 1

Hagler turned it into a street fight because he knew that was probably the only way he could win.

He gambled on his chin and came up trumps.

Hearns would never back down from a tear-up and Hagler knew it.

Hearns was finished after less than a round, no legs and busted Right hand.

He was almost a sitting duck for Hagler after that.

I wouldn't have bet on Hearns to be able to outbox Hagler for the full 15 (or was it 12? can't remember now). EIther way I can't see him beating Hagler any which way they fought. If he boxed he would have run out of puff as stamina was not his strong suit

Several give Hearns problems at 154. But he doesn't lose many.
I'd love to see McCallum fight Hearns that would of been great.
