i mean he's pretty f@ckin flabby, there's clearly a lot there he could lose. he was 250 in his debut and was still completely soft with love handles, jiggling, and 0 definition. whether he could get low enough for cruiser i dunno, but if he were in really good shape i doubt he'd be much above the 220 range. heavyweight conditioning and discipline is pathetic these days

It's got to be harder to motivate themselves because they don't have to make a weight , plus they've seen Fury make a mockery of conditioning .
Not making excuses because Gorman has wasted a good career in my eyes , got plenty of talent .

There is a video circulating on Twitter of Fury rapping in his hotel room before the Wlad fight (as its seven years ago today) and he is in fantastic shape. Very lean.

It doesn't seem to matter what shape he's in because he's an elite world champion that's ripped up the rule book as to what an elite fighter is supposed to look like .His stamina is unquestionable for such a big lump

Yeah, he has always looked terrible physique wise and he looked 40 when he was 20.

Recently though he has looked good, leaned out and looks a lot better.

The best shape I've thought Fury was in was for the Wlad fight. I remember thinking he looked very slim in the face (comparitively) at the press conference he did at Bolton football stadium on his return.

Either way if it was between Fury and Frank Bruno on who could fight at a decent pace over 12 rounds we know it's Fury all day long despite Bruno having the body of the greek god.

On Gorman, I've long questioned how hard he actually trains, getting on the scales for this Wardley fight it looked not much different to after his long break following the Dubois defeat.

Its should be the end given how he folded , but we all know it probably wont be cos £££.
Maybe he can reset lose the flab and get into shape to enable a harder camp and better movement .
I am gonna watch it again but it seemed like his strategy was to go for the early combos and KO Wardley but then when that didnt work there was no plan B .

I question how much the fitness has to do with Gorman's defeats....unfortunately, I just think as a pro boxer his talent isn't that great, or his skill, and his durability when under fire is unimpressive.

I think he thought he could go toe to toe with Wardley and win .
He's obviously not in the shape to be an elusive fighter but when he got tagged the first time he invited Wardley in again and remained standing on the ropes , if he was lighter could he have taken defensive action and have got away from that position ?
I don't know but i think he's definitely got talent and probably took on the firefight too early on .
Still lots to offer domestically if he wants it .

He reacts very badly when he gets hit, completely loses his form, you'd never guess he was a fast handed combination puncher by the Dubious fight, he seemed calm and confident before the fight but seemed to panick in the fight just closed his eyes and tried winging a wild left hook over and over

It was an exciting fight, probably one of the top 10 British fights this year.

Hope Gorman carries on, that boxing in the first round was class....but its a bit like David Price...looked a million dollars until some thug turned it into a street fight and battered him

I get the comparison being made to David Price, but just to be clear....Gorman is nowhere near as good as Pricey in any department, amateur or Pro.
