Whilst that may be true for the Boxrec regulars .. I doubt outside the couple hundred thousand who watched the Taylor v Cat fight many in the UK would even know Taylor or Catteral.
I bet even less in the USA want to see the rematch.

Its a cracking fight and something to actually look forward to, but its hard not to feel sorry for Caterall.
Suprised so many ppl favouring Teo, can only assume the thinking is Taylors going to be too weight drained, which is fair.
A 100% Josh Taylor would fornicating nail teo.

As "ordered" fights go this is a great match.
There's been way too many shite mandatory obligations over the years that have proved a disgusting waste of time, this is a real fight (potentially...not decided yet if the styles will gel).
Both aggressive, hard punching boxers...it could be fireworks

I wonder if Taylor can still do 140lbs after this prolonged break ?

Wasn’t it Taylor who kept getting injured?

Don't you need to be covid vaccine up to fight in the states and with JT being anti vaccine?

Yup - think so.
Djokovic is having the same problem in Tennis although he’s pretty hopeful it’ll be sorted imminently so perhaps the rules will be amended.

Excellent fight. Would have 100% gone but me & my missus are planning for our first child early next year so don't think it would go down well

i think it will be a real tough one for him, I'm not sure whether i think 'fair play he's accepting that he'll suffer to get down to the weight but it's worth it for a good challenge', or wondering if he's just ducking the inevitable (and the competition) by not going up to 147.

I’m surprised they’re planning on this in New York. Josh has the MTK stuff and, unless something changed, isn’t vaccinated so it could be a risk on a couple of fronts.
Also sounds like Boxxer may be going down the legal route to enforce the Catterall fight contract.
Also Lopez isn’t really a big seller. Sold well for Loma and fairly well for Kambosos but since then he’s been uninspired in the ring and hasn’t been a big draw.
It’s a good fight though.

Boxxer are crap.
Loma fight was behind closed doors and the Kambosos venue/date was arranged at short notice after Triller defaulted on their bed.

Boxxer’s PR guy came back saying Copp went to the wrong person and should have gone to someone in his team rather than Shalom directly. Childish. He said they’ve got a legally binding contract for the Catterall fight.
You’re right - for some reason I had in my head that Loma/Lopez sold well at the main Garden. Completely wrong.

He's from Brooklyn isn't he Teo? Not sure how well New Yorkers get behind their own mind, or if they even care about boxing at all.

That talk of "rescheduling clauses" is interesting. Does it basically mean that if you don't want the fight you signed up to and/or something bigger/paying more comes along, you can just get an injury and get out of it?

Can it be called easy money for Taylor? An opponent with a name from the lower class after a series of bad performances. Taylor gotta win convincingly.

I had managed to remain a big Taylor fan up to the Catterall fight, despite his constant dickbaggery, because he wanted to fight the best, and he backed his talk. He knows fine well that Catterall beat him comfortably, and he no longer feels like the big man who can chase legacy, is my guess
