Surprised it’s not Anthony Yarde..

Bivol’s been out all year unfortunately.

Arthur brings nothing to the table other than a flicking jab. He has no business being in the ring with Bivol and Arthur will probably just look to last the 12 rounds and not get hurt.

Not quite...Richards offers more than Arthur and is prepared to gamble a bit more. He's boxed much better opposition than Arthur too.

He British title win over Pitters was impressive.

Arthur stunk out the place outpointing Yarde and was then promptly put back in his place in the return.

Richards didn't disgrace himself against Buglioni, Bivol or Buatsi.

Yeah - sadly in the same lines as some of the other "outclassed" British fighters in world title fights - the likes of Brian Rose, Gary Lockett etc.

Probably just about acceptable as a world title challenge, but there is only one winner.

bivol can coast, and even vs lower level guys doesnt really go for a stoppage. it wouldnt shock me if arthur lost a lopsided decision and it wouldnt shock me if he gets stopped much earlier than that. depends on how bivol feels

I feel on such a big stage with huge exposure Bivol will turn up the heat and put on a bit of a show .

He’s gotta go for it.
Why not?
These chances don’t come up hardly ever.
Plus if an amazing win, a Gateway to Mexican millions.
Plus Lyndon is proper weight class. G’won .

I don't think he is chinny, he has only been down in two fights and lost only one. He's been cut more than he's been dropped as he's a very angular face, I'd say that is more of a danger than punch resistance.

Bivol has been known to fight to the level of his opposition which is probably the only chance Arthur has.
If the Bivol that beats Canelo turns up this is easy work for him.

Sure on paper it looks like a one horse race but who knows what version of Bivol we get after a year out of the ring enjoying the megabucks he earned in his previous fights. If Bivol takes his eye off the ball and Lyndon produces the performance of a lifetime maybe he can shock us all.

I don’t think he’s even top 5 in Britain. Crazy he’s getting a title shot.

His only real asset is his jab & Bivol has a far better one. I can’t see him having any success in this.

I’d imagine so. He was badly rocked by a super middle on channel 5 not long ago. I know Bivol can go through the motions & go 12 rounds against lesser opposition but I think he’ll stop Arthur even if he doesn’t go looking for it

how much do people think (or know) Arthur will get for this fight - several hundred K? I am always interested in what people actually earn for title shots, will it be grossly inflated cos it's Saudi?
